RESUMOEste artigo tem como objetivo propor um método de Gestão do Conhecimento em documentos de projeto para adquirir e integrar dados, informações e conhecimento. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, descritiva e propositiva realizada em documentos de diferentes projetos administrados pelo Laboratório de Transportes e Logística da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brasil. O método abrange 22 fases e três portões para a análise da continuidade do processo de construção da base. Os resultados contribuem para a reutilização dos conhecimentos dos projetos através do entrelaçamento de dados, informações e conhecimento para facilitar o gerenciamento futuro e a aprendizagem coletiva. Finalmente, este artigo sugere o desenvolvimento de sistemas inteligentes para mapeamento de conhecimento de modo automatizado e dinâmico em documentos de projetos, bem como para seu compartilhamento eletrônico. Tais sistemas forneceriam pesquisas rápidas para apoiar a tomada de decisões e o aperfeiçoamento dos esforços gastos em projetos futuros através da reutilização de boas práticas e lições aprendidas.
