O leite materno é o alimento mais completo, com composição adequada de nutrientes necessários para o desenvolvimento e crescimento do lactente até o sexto mês de vida, sendo ofertado de maneira exclusiva, no qual, deve ser complementado gradativamente até pelo menos aos dois anos de vida, desta forma, contribuindo para a saúde dos recém-nascidos e das mães. O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar as intervenções educativas em saúde sobre amamentação e desenvolver atividades educativas sobre essa temática em nutrizes internadas em uma maternidade escola em Teresina. Teve como método de estudo uma abordagem quantitativa de caráter descritivo, com 100 puérperas internadas na maternidade. Os dados foram coletados através de um questionário abordando grau de escolaridade, gravidez atual, informações sobre aleitamento materno, informações sobre parto e pós-parto e conhecimento sobre amamentação. Os dados foram compilados a partir das respostas dos formulários e posteriormente os dados foram organizados e descritos por meio de tabelas e gráficos no Microsolt excel 2013. O escore cinco foi o menor valor observado e o escore 9, o máximo. O valor da média e mediana, respectivamente, foi de 7,97, e 8,0. As puérperas apresentam níveis satisfatórios de conhecimento. No entanto, ainda é necessário que os serviços de atenção à gestante precisam seguir um protocolo que explique claramente as informações que devem ser repassadas a elas durante o pré-natal e deve ser continuada no período de pós-parto imediato na maternidade.
Identificar na literatura as principais complicações gestacionais associadas a infecção pela COVID-19. Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica do tipo integrativa que buscou analisar a revisão e identificar quais são as principais complicações gestacionais ocasionadas em decorrência da COVID-19. A busca foi realizada na Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), entre os meses de agosto a outubro de 2021, utilizado os bancos de dados da Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e Sistema Online de Busca e Análise de Literatura Médica (MEDLINE). No Quadro 1, pode-se observar os estudos por título, autor e ano de publicação, objetivos e conclusões seguindo a ordem cronológica de publicação. As gestantes com COVID-19 podem apresentar complicações atípicas, inicialmente sem febre ou apenas com leucocitose, mas a pneumonia tem evolução parecida com as não gestantes. Além da hipertensão gestacional que demonstrou está 5 vezes mais associada as mulheres com infecção por COVID-19 em comparação com a não gravidez, também ficou claro o risco de descolamento placentário está 21 vezes associado a infecção. Os recém-nascidos de mães infectadas com o vírus tiveram maior risco de admissão em UTI neonatal. Apesar de estudos iniciais demonstrarem que não há diferenças importantes na frequência de COVID-19 entre gestantes e não gestantes, o vírus é responsável por alterações importantes nas gestantes.
