Objetivo: Descrever através de um levantamento de publicações, orientações e recomendações relativas aos procedimentos de biossegurança no centro cirúrgico durante a pandemia do COVID-19. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática, onde foi realizado um processo de seleção criterioso do material referenciado, considerando a importância para o presente estudo. A busca foi realizada com os seguintes descritores: Equipamento de Proteção Individual, Centro Cirúrgico, Infecções por Coronavírus. Resultados: Foram analisados 27 documentos, e após a análise do título e resumo foram excluídos 15 desses materiais por não contemplarem o tema em questão. Foram selecionados 12 documentos para este estudo. Conclusão: O centro cirúrgico é um setor essencial para os serviços hospitalares, baseado nisso medidas de biossegurança mais rígidas foram adotadas. Todas elas surgiram para ofertar um ambiente seguro de trabalho para os profissionais, bem como uma prestação da assistência cautelosa e de qualidade aos pacientes.
Objetivo: Descrever, a partir de uma revisão narrativa, as normas de biossegurança e as medidas que foram adotadas para redução dos riscos inerentes as atividades assistenciais ao paciente em centro cirúrgico, suspeitos ou confirmados de Covid-19. Revisão bibliográfica: Nos centros cirúrgicos, os ricos de infecção nos profissionais de saúde são elevados, por consequência da grande manipulação de vias aéreas e procedimentos anestésicos. Em nível mundial, as instituições estão se mobilizando e construindo protocolos de segurança para o atendimento aos pacientes com suspeita ou portadores de Covid-19, considerando como principal via de transmissão o contato das vias aéreas, por gotículas ou aerossóis. Para promover a segurança dos profissionais e pacientes medidas de biossegurança devem ser adotadas, tais como: a utilização de máscara N95 e uso de boas praticas, a exemplo da paramentação e desparamentação. Considerações finais: A adesão as normas de biossegurança reduzem os riscos decorrente das atividades assistenciais dos profissionais de saúde, devendo ser de caráter coletivo, a fim de proporciona a segurança da equipe e do paciente.
