In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, science and technology played an important role in the future. Therefore, education is fundamental in the formation and development of human resources. Thus, they can contribute to the development of science and technology, especially in Mathematics. Mathematics has an important role in the future, but as is well-known Mathematics is one of the subjects that is considered difficult. Many students complain about this lesson for several reasons, such as the monotonous learning and the way the teacher does not vary. Thus, it is difficult to understand. To solve this problem, there is an innovation called TJAM. TJAM is an application that is devoted to learning Mathematics. The features of TJAM are as follows: MyMaths, Math Stories, FunMath, and MathUrgent features. The research method we use is qualitative. The purpose of TJAM is to make students like mathematics and not be afraid of mathematics because in TJAM students can find features that will help them in learning Mathematics. TJAM has an advantage when compared to similar applications, TJAM has the FunMath and MathStorie features where these two features will make it easy for students to learn mathematics. Through TJAM, students are expected to like math and be helped by the features provided.
The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical literacy ability of students in solving HOTS questions before and after applying the PBL-HOTS model on gradient of perpendicular line. In addition, the purpose of this article is to find out student responses to the PBL-HOTS model learning implemented. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were used tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 25 students of class VIII SMP Lab school UPI who had high, medium, and low mathematical abilities. This study uses 15 test questions and 19 statements in the questionnaire consisting of 7 negative statements and 12 positive statements. The analysis technique in this study consists of three stages, namely 1) data reduction; 2) data display; 3) drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that students' mathematical literacy skills in solving HOTS questions before the implementation of PBL-HOTS were 18 students identified as failing, 1 student identified as lacking, 4 students identified as adequate, and 2 students identified as very good. Meanwhile, the students' mathematical literacy skills after implementing the PBL-HOTS model were 9 students identified as failing, 1 less, 8 enough, 3 good, and 4 very good. In addition, from the results of the percentage of students' attitude questionnaires towards the learning carried out, it shows that on average 25 students of class VIII SMP Lab school UPI have a good attitude towards the teaching carried out or on intermediate students like or match learning using the PBL-HOTS model in improving their mathematical literacy ability. The results of this study are expected to be used as information about the mathematical literacy skills of junior high school students. They can be helpful in education, especially mathematics teaching, which can use the PBL-HOTS model in improving the mathematical literacy skills of junior high school students.
Sampah plastik adalah jenis sampah yang sulit terurai oleh mikroorganisme karena memiliki rantai karbon yang panjang, sehingga permasalahan sampah ini sangat mengkhawatirkan Oleh karena itu kami mempunyai sebuah solusi yang berbeda yaitu TAJUR KREASI (Tas Rajut Kresek Anti Air) sebagai inovasi pemanfaatan sampah plastik. TAJUR KREASI ini merupakan sebuah komunitas yang akanmengolah sampah-sampah plastik khususnya kantong plastik menjadi kerajinan tangan yang memiliki nilai jual. Ini merupakan Program Kegiatan Mahasiswa bidang Pengabdian Masyarakat dilakukan di Desa Manonjaya, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Program ini dilaksanakan pada 1 Juni 2021 hingga 22 Agusutus 2021 yang berkolaborasi dengan kelompok masyarakat Patriot yang merupakan program daripemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat dalam membangun desa-desa di Jawa Barat. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan diketahui Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Pengabdian Masyarakat TAJUR KREASI dapat mengispirasi masyarakat untuk mengolah sampah plastik menjadi barang yang memiliki nilai guna seperti tas rajut. Pelatihan ini juga meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam kegiatan merajut.
