steigenden Tendenz und einer hohen Dunkelziffer.
In Lebewesen finden ständig Prozesse des Aufbaus und Abbaus von Organen, Geweben, Zellen und Zellbestandteilen statt. Im Zustand der Homöostase sind diese Prozesse in einem Fließgleichgewicht. Verschiedene Mechanismen greifen bei Störungen in diese Homöostase ein, sodass Zellen z. B. auf Stress reagieren können – unter anderem auch durch einen gesteuerten Abbau in Form der Autophagie, d. h. eines gesteuerten katabolen Prozesses.
