Avantages et défis des classes d'apprentissage actif au collégial selon les enseignants et les étudiants : les résultats d'une première itération d'une recherche de type « design-based » Formation et profession 26(1), 2018 • ésumé Plusieurs cégeps investissent dans des classes spécialement aménagées pour favoriser le travail collaboratif et les pédagogies actives avec les technologies. Le présent article rapporte les résultats de la première itération d'une recherche de type design-based, à partir d' entrevues avec des étudiants et des enseignants, et se fonde sur des cadres théoriques des attentes et de la valeur pour aborder la motivation et l' engagement des étudiants, et de développement professionnel pour les enseignants. Les principaux avantages perçus ont trait à la valeur de la collaboration, de l'utilisation des TIC et des approches pédagogiques. L'approche est exigeante pour les enseignants sur les plans de la gestion de classe et des changements de pratiques, ce qui suggère une préparation adéquate.
L’implantation du programme de formation Éthique et culture religieuse (Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport, 2008) entraine un « changement profond » au regard de notre système d’enseignement (Conseil supérieur de l’éducation, 2008). Les perceptions des agents d’implantation par rapport à une innovation éducative peuvent affecter non seulement sa mise en oeuvre, mais ses résultats (Fullan, 2007). Afin de mieux comprendre les perceptions des enseignants du primaire face au programme d’ÉCR, une entrevue exploratoire semi-dirigée a permis d’explorer les perceptions des répondants par rapport au programme et à sa mise en oeuvre. Les résultats obtenus des thèmes émergents sont plutôt négatifs, et ce, peu importe le niveau d’expertise des enseignants par rapport à l’utilisation du programme.
