Les régions du Nord-Ouest et du Sud-Ouest du Cameroun sont affectées par une crise qui fragilise l’unité de ce pays. Cette crise, qui a débuté depuis 2016, remet en question le vivre-ensemble, une valeur pourtant très chère au peuple camerounais. Dans ce climat de confusion, la presse y joue un rôle majeur puisqu’elle participe au débat politique. Dès lors, ce texte ambitionne de décrypter l’impact du discours médiatique sur la construction du vivre ensemble au Cameroun. Le corpus d’étude, composé des quotidiens Cameroon Tribune et Le Messager permet de comprendre comment ce type de discours concourt à construire le vivre-ensemble dans un contexte de crise. Il en ressort que l’orientation argumentative de la construction discursive du vivre ensemble est fortement influencée par le positionnement idéologico-discursif des deux quotidiens.
