AURA users’ body composition results are used to provide information regarding the position of individual user’s among the population: for example, if he/she has lower or higher body fat ratio or muscle mass than others. The comparison with other users is good for extra motivation since it creates a competitive element of training or/and diet.1.Can I compare my body composition with AURA users’ body composition results? Brief answer: Yes, you can. In the AURA app we use data based on thousands of AURA Strap measurements conducted by a huge number of our users. All data were processed in order to exclude any incorrect data caused by various factors. As a result the final dataset provides a representation of an actual body composition of AURA users.
A method for calculating the transient processes of starting an asynchronous motor is proposed, as the basis of a mathematical model that takes into account the actual parameters and characteristics of the network, motor and load mechanism. The method is based on the analytical solution of the differential equation of the AC rotation at the inter-val of velocity change from zero to the critical corresponding to the critical slip and up to a value close to the nomi-nal. This method will allow to determine the start-up time, power waste and overheating of the stator windings during one start-up, using the main nominal and starting data of the engine
A method for constructing a high-speed effective protection of large asynchronous motors from arc faults in the stator winding arising from weakening and electrical breakdown of insulation on the machine body and caused by the action of switching or impulse overvoltages has been developed and substantiated. The proposed scheme for detecting arc faults is based on monitoring the active and capacitive conductivity of the winding in-sulation relative to the machine body and violation of the conduction star in case of insulation damage. It is shown that the asynchronous motor protection according to the proposed method will effectively operate both in case of single-phase short-circuits to the case, and inter-turn and phase-to-phase closures, leading to signifi-cant damage to the insulation and winding conductors. The proposed protection has a speed that is inaccessi-ble to modern means of relay protection of motors from such damages. It is proposed to build protection against internal faults on a two-level principle, due to an additional device for quickly extinguishing the residual EMF in the stator winding, induced in it after the motor is disconnected from the network.
