A comunicação da ciêncianaimprensa é umaactividadeantiga e as fricções entre cientistas e jornalistas que semprecaracterizaram a comunicação da ciência, têm sido ultrapassadas desde que os cientistasfizeram dos jornalistasparceiros privilegiados para comunicar a ciência. A investigaçãopropõe-se analisar os indícios que se consubstanciam em evidências da comunicação da ciêncianaimprensa angolana e conta com o suporte teórico de Schäfer (2011); Mendonça (2017) e Fonseca (2018). Assim, a investigação procura responder à questão – existemindícios que se consubstanciam em acções que promovem a cultura científica naimprensa angolana? Para respondê-la, utilizou-se umametodologiaqualitativa e quantitativa que analisou 200 artigos de ciência, dos quais 100 do ano de 2019 e 100 de 2021 retirados de trêsjornaisnacionais – Jornal de Angola, OPaís e ANGOP PRESS. Os resultados sugerem que naimprensa angolana parecem não existir espaços regulares para comunicar a ciência, falta de articulação da imprensacom as instituiçõesprodutoras de ciência, as notícias de ciêncianaimprensasão caracterizadas pela presença significativa de políticos proferindo discursos sobre políticas da ciência e tecnologia, quaseou nada é reportado sobre os resultados científicos produzidosnasInstituições de Ensino Superior. Auguramos que o presente texto sirva de contributo para fortalecer o debate sobre a promoção da cultura científica em Angola, uma vez que a imprensa e outrasinstituiçõesnãoapresentam indicadores para que tal aconteça.
RESUMO: A Formação Inicial de Professores (FIP) tem sido marcada internacionalmente com a introdução de instrumentos de reflexão, que fazem parte das boas práticas de ensino e aprendizagem no âmbito das Ciências de Educação. Mas no contexto angolano esta inovação não é um facto. Assim, o presente artigo propõe adaptar e utilizar, na Prática Pedagógica do curso de Inglês, o Portfolio for Students Teachers of English no Instituto Superior de Ciências de Educação de Luanda (ISCED-POSTE). Para tal, utilizamos a metodologia quantitativa com recurso ao programa SPSS para determinar as frequências de preenchimento do portefólio e recorremos à metodologia qualitativa com realce à análise temática das entrevistas dos participantes. Da análise feita à sessão Self-Assessment, o Resource foi a categoria mais refletida com 38%, enquanto o Independent learning com 6% foi a menos utilizada pelos estudantes. A categoria do Dossier mais expressiva é o Evidence From Lesson Observation and Evaluation (EFLOE) com 50%. Tal como os participantes consideram que o ISCED-POSTE estimula a criatividade, promove a aprendizagem autónoma e reflexiva, contribui na organização do processo de aprendizagem e recomendam a sua utilização. Auguramo-nos que o presente trabalho sirva de protótipo para outros contextos de formação inicial de professores que privilegiam abordagens tradicionais de ensino nas práticas pedagógicas ou estágios.
Este artigo apresenta os resultados da experimentação do European Portfolio for Student Teachers of Languages (EPOSTL) no contexto do ensino superior angolano, refletindo sobre a sua eficácia na prática pedagógica da formação inicial de professores de língua inglesa. A pesquisa durou um semestre lectivo e a amostra compreendeu 40 estudantes que foram submetidos a um questionário. Os 15 estudantes mais destacados em termos de informações por eles fornecidas foram ainda submetidos a entrevistas semiestruturadas com a finalidade de aprofundar e pormenorizar tais informações. Os resultados do inquérito demonstram que cerca de dois terços dos participantes (63%) encaram positivamente o uso do portfólio na formação de professores de inglês em Angola, declarando que ele ajuda a refletir sistematicamente sobre as práticas pedagógicas e promove aprendizagem autónoma. Grandes porções dos participantes indicam como categorias mais relevantes para refletir as práticas, o Lesson Planning (75%), o Resources (68%) e o Conducting a Lesson (63%). No computo geral, mais de 50% dos estudantes concorda completamente, afirmando que este instrumento é compatível com a realidade angolana, enquanto que 88% dos entrevistados recomenda a utilização do portefólio. Isto demonstra que o EPOSTL contribui na promoção da reflexão e da autonomia na formação inicial de professores em Angola, um contexto que geralmente privilegia abordagens tradicionais de ensino no sentido de pura memorização e autoritarismo.
