The concept of heat exchangers plays a major role in the refrigeration and air conditioning system. This project discusses about the parallel flow and counter flow heat exchanger using LMTD and NTU effectiveness method. The main objective of this project is to calculate theoretical parameters of heat exchanger like Effectiveness, Area, Inlet and outlet temperatures, Log mean temperature difference (LMTD), Number of Transfer units (NTU), by using concepts of OOPs & java. To calculate this all parameters java program is done on the parallel and counter flow heat exchanger.
We present an intelligent expense tracker to efficiently manage the monthly expenses. Our system will help everyone who are planning to know their expenses and save from it. The user will be given the facility to set a monthly limit and if the user crosses that limit our app will notify the user about the same. The user can give receipts as an input, using our Androidapp. will sort it into different categories. Here user can also define their own categories like food, clothing, rent and bills and the user can also set limits for a particular category. User will be provided with visual statistics of expenses by transaction date or by category. This project is not indentedfor a particular user or age group but anyone and everyone who wants to track their expense can use this app. So, the general idea of this Project is to help people view and study their overall expenditure pattern by developing a mobile application to analyse all the purchases made by the user by simply scanning the receipts.
Aims and Objective: To study the clinical presentations, laboratory profile, hematological complications and outcome of dengue fever. Materials and Methods: Descriptive study was carried which includes adult males and females who were serologically confirmed cases of dengue. These patients were assessed for their demographic features (age/sex etc.); clinical profile various signs and symptoms; labotrary profile; complications and outcome as mentioned in the proforma. Results: Total 56 patients studied. Out of 56 cases, the maximum number of cases, 22 (39.2%), belonged to the age group between 20 to 40 years. Thus the mean age of hospitalized patients was 31.2 ± 4.5 yrs. There were 33 (58.9%) males and 23 (41.1%) female patients. Majority were Dengue Hemorrhagic fever 20 (35.7%) and 8 (14.2%) were cases of severe dengue according to WHO guidelines. Fever was present in all patients. Two patients developed DIC and died. Conclusion: Patients with dengue syndrome showed varied clinical presentation. Symptoms and clinical signs are non specific. Most adults were positive for symptoms like fever, myalgia, arthralgia, and skin rash and bleeding.
