This research is aimed at describing teachers' and students' needs in terms of character education based on fairy-tale textbook development. It is intended to discover the level of junior high teachers' and students' needs regarding textbooks, especially in Semarang regency. The method used is qualitative-descriptive research. The data collection was conducted by carrying out interviews, observation, questionnaires, and analyses. Data analysis was an interactive-cycle model through a data presentation and a conclusion. The results showed that the teachers and students in junior high schools need sufficient character education based on fairy-tale textbooks, which requires the following aspects: content, presentation, language and readability, and graphics. Based on the findings, it is suggested that the availability of character education based on fairy-tale textbooks for teachers and students in junior high schools in Semarang needs developing.
Penelitian bertujuan menyelidiki efektivitas pendekatan Problem-Based Learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP. Metode pembelajaran mendorong siswa untuk mengembangkan pemahaman mendalam tentang konsep sains melalui pemecahan masalah nyata yang autentik. Penelitian dilakukan di sebuah SMP menggunakan satu kelas yang diberikan perlakuan. Model Problem-Based Learning diterapkan dengan menyajikan masalah yang relevan dengan konten sains yang dipelajari. Siswa diberi kesempatan untuk berkolaborasi, berdiskusi, dan mencari solusi kreatif melalui investigasi mandiri. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan proses sains sebelum dan setelah perlakuan pendekatan Problem-Based Learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan proses sains siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan ini. Menghasilkan kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam memprediksi dan menganalisis data. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Problem-Based Learning efektif meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang aktif dan berpusat pada siswa, di mana siswa terlibat dalam pemecahan masalah kontekstual untuk mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif dan relevan dalam pendidikan sains di tingkat SMP.
This research was conducted when the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia had occurred over the past year. The existence of pandemic forced the learning systems around the world to change into online learning in order to make safer and more efficient for everyone that involved. However, there are several impacts arise when online learning happened for the long-term. The research discussed about the various impact of long-term online learning, especially on students and teachers from the Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Godean, Yogyakarta. This research covers (1) the impact of long-term online learning for students; (2) the impact of long-term online learning for teachers. There were 25 student and six teacher respondents from SMKN 1 Godean. The data was collected online using close questionnaire technique. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed, there is more than 60% of students agreed that long-term online learning brings an impact on them. Additionally, more than 50% of teachers agree that long-term online learning brings impacts on them.
Ibu atau biasa disebut dengan istilah ummahat mempunyai peranan penting dalam membentuk karakter masyarakat. Dalam Islam, seorang ibu memainkan peran sentral dalam membangun karakter keluarga yang ia bina. Dan selanjutnya dari keluarga yang berkarakter Islami inilah, akan terbentuk baldatun thoyyibatun seperti yang tertulis didalam Al-Qur`an. Kajian tafsir ummahat, dengan metode ceramah dan dialog interaktif, adalah salah satu upaya yang dilakukan dengan tujuan membekali para ummahat dalam memahami Al-Qur`an dengan benar, dan kemudian menjadikan nilai-nilai Al-Qur`an dan As-Sunnah sebagai karakter diri, keluarga dan masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman akan nilai-nilai Al-Qur`an terutama pada surat Al-Muzammil ayat 1- 13 tentang kedudukan ibadah sunnah yaitu qiyamul lail sebagai pembentuk karakter diri dalam menyebarkan dakwah Islam sekaligus peningkatan kwalitas diri dan derajat seorang hamba disisi Allah swt. Dengan peningkatan pemahaman inilah, diharapkan dapat memotivasi ummahat untuk memaksimalkan peran dalam rangka membangun keluarga dan masyarakat Islami idaman.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of problem-solving abilities on students' learning motivation on multiplication fractions in grade 5 of SDN Citangkil Baru. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The research procedure consisted of four stages, namely the pre-field stage, the field work stage, the data analysis stage and the report preparation stage. The results of this study show that student motivation influences the ability to solve mathematical problems in multiplication fraction material which consists of four indicators, namely feelings of pleasure and diligent learning, willingness and interest in learning, intelligence and independence in learning and achievement in learning. And students' problem-solving abilities in terms of student learning motivation in grade 5 SDN Citangkil Baru shows the results of an average percentage score of 80. Thus it can be concluded that problem-solving abilities affect student learning motivation or student motivation is good for learning mathematics, so problem-solving abilities will be good also.
