OBJETIVO: Comprender la gestión del cliente-paciente dentro de la gerencia de las organizaciones odontológicas con base en la dimensión del capital relacional. MATERIAL Y MÉTODO: Es una investigación de tipo documental y emplea los métodos descriptivo y analítico; esto implicó la determinación de los componentes, elementos y estrategias que activan la dimensión relacional, para luego identificar al cliente-paciente odontológico dentro de la naturaleza del ecosistema organizacional y su comportamiento como entidad lingüística que acciona la búsqueda de su propio mejoramiento, cambio y desarrollo. RESULTADOS: Obteniéndose como hallazgo, tanto la significación del cliente-paciente odontológico como la interpretación de los elementos del capital relacional dentro de su forma de vida fundamentado en reconfiguraciones lingüísticas que generan los modos de actuar. CONCLUSIONES: La dimensión cliente-paciente odontológico gira entorno a la identidad individual o colectiva que desea con respecto a su sonrisa, lo cual va más allá de sanar una dolencia, esto demanda de un ámbito odontológico revolucionado bajo un paradigma estético soportado en la Armonización Orofacial, asimismo, el odontólogo requiere competencias gerenciales que les permita gestionar tanto las expectativas como las necesidades que buscan los clientes-pacientes fundamentado en el capital relacional con base en la marca, la identidad, la reputación e imagen corporativa del profesional u organización odontológica.
El objetivo principal de este artículo es analizar el impacto de la armonización orofacial a través de la teleodontología en el capital relacional, esta investigación es de tipo documental y emplea los métodos descriptivo y analítico. De forma que, para optimizar la retroalimentación o flujo de información sobre el profesional u organización odontológica con base en los elementos del capital relacional, se sugiere el uso de una de las estrategias de dinamización específicamente CRM (customer relationship management) a través de herramientas digitales, teniendo presente la personalización del cliente-paciente odontológico. Por lo que, incluirla en el área de la armonización orofacial, permitirá la obtención de imágenes fotográficas, videos e incluso los deseos y las expectativas de los clientes-pacientes antes de tener una consulta de tipo presencial. En definitiva, el enfoque de la teleodontología sobre el capital relacional en la actualidad guiara a los especialistas de armonización orofacial a dinamizar la comunicación e interacción con los clientes-pacientes enfocándose en conocer, caracterizar y protocolizar de manera presuntiva sus necesidades estéticas y funcionales de forma virtual, siendo así un método complementario para llegar al diagnóstico definitivo o final.
Se reflexiona sobre la reconfiguración del cliente odontológico con base en la belleza orofacial inteligente, en el equilibrio armónico y simétrico de la sonrisa y el rostro. La investigación se basa en el contexto local de Venezuela con una metodología de carácter descriptivo por medio de un estudio exploratorio en 2020, donde se empleó muestreo por conglomerados. Con un total de 196 muestras, se calcula el coeficiente de Kuder y Richardson, el cual arroja que todos los instrumentos aseguran confiabilidad. Como conclusión se plantea que la odontología va más allá del tratamiento de los dientes, puesto que los resultados indican que es necesaria la educación del cliente en cuanto a las bondades que aporta la belleza orofacial inteligente soportada en la armonización orofacial.
