The Corona Virus (Covid-19) is causing panic everywhere. Hundreds of thousands people were infected and thousands more died. The Indonesian government itself has given appeals to the community in overcoming this epidemic, so that it runs effectively and efficiently. However, in reality there are still many Indonesian people who do not heed this appeal. Therefore, this community service activity aims to assist the government in increasing public knowledge about preventing Covid-19. The method used in community service is carried out through counseling and mentoring. This activity is able to increase public knowledge and understanding about the dangers of Covid-19 and efforts to protect themselves from the implementation of 3M.
The smart-city is innovation concept providing effective and efficient public services, through innovation and the use of information technology infrastructure. There needs to be a collaboration between local governments, private agencies, and other community groups to develop this concept. However, the collaboration model seems to be very rarely studied in smart city envolve in local government. This paper uses a descriptive qualitative method, with a positivist approach. The results of the study explained that the Government of Baubau City was developing an online application for Information Management and Documentation Officers, that application provides information about which a number of data on finance, market prices, spatial data, and other public information were presented to support government transparency. Besides having developed links that the public can access various information on policies, programs, news, government activities, including online-based reporting systems, including development planning program (MUSREMBANG) now can be online. It's just that the implementation process is still oriented to the local government, while the private sector and the community have not fully contributed so that this service has not been optimal in providing effective and efficient services. The biggest challenges in implementing this are limited human resources and telecommunications infrastructure that is not yet optimal.
Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi menjadi salah satu daya dukung dalam proses pemerintahan, khususnya dalam penerapan absensi finger print untuk mengawasi kehadiran pegawai. Teknologi ini juga digunakan pada Kantor Kecamatan Sorawolio Kota Baubau, namun dalam implementasinya dianggap belum berjalan efektif dan efisisen. Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak penerapan model absensi finger print dan sejumlah faktor yang memengaruhinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan absensi finger print terhadap disiplin Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Kantor Kecamatan Sorawolio Kota Baubau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui sejumlah Informan pegawai di Kantor Kecamatan Sorawolio. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, studi dokumen dan observasi langsung oleh peneliti. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan absensi finger print pada pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Sorawolio cenderung meningkatkan disiplin terhadap kehadiran pegawai, dengan dukungan adanya data yang tercatat secara detail tentang ketepatan pegawai masuk maupun pulang kantor. Namun dalam penerapan teknologi absensi finger print ini, masih menemui beberapa kendala diantaranya keterlambatan jam masuk pegawai serta aksesibilitas pegawai jika berkaitan dengan tempat tinggal dan lokasi kegiatan. Sehingga masih sering ditemui adanya pegawai yang sering datang terlambat maupun pulang yang lebih cepat dari jadwal. Diharapkan melalui hasil kajian ini menjadi bahan koordinasi Camat Sorawolio dengan Pemerintah Kota Baubau untuk dilakukan perbaikan aturan dan sistem kerjanya terhadap pemantauan kedisiplinan pegawai di Kota Baubau.
ABSTRAKTujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengembangan pariwisata berbasis partisipasi masyarakat berkaitan erat dengan pemberdayaan dan pengembangan kepariwisataan yang berkelanjutan. Desa Bahari III menjadi salah satu ikon pariwisata pesisir bagi Kabupaten Buton Selatan, dengan ciri kawasan pesisir, masyarakat yang memegang teguh adat istiadat dan kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat yang turut mendukung hal itu. Namun, pengembangan pariwisata yang kini dilakukan belum menempatkan masyarakat sebagai subjek kebijakan pengembangan pariwisatanya. Pendekatan yang menempatkan partisipasi kelompok masyarakat dalam pengembangan pariwisata, yang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan standar kehidupan masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah membentuk dasar untuk mendefinisikan model pariwisata berbasis masyarakat yang terdapat di Desa Bahari III. Dengan begitu, pengabdian masyarakat ini digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi ekonomi desa, partisipasi masyarakat yang memungkinkan adanya kolaborasi dan penciptaan modal sosial. Melalui pengabdian ini dapat menunjukkan bagaimana model ini dapat digunakan untuk menilai tingkat partisipasi masyarakat terkait pariwisata, dan menyarankan tindakan lebih lanjut yang diperlukan. Desa Bahari III has become one of the icons of coastal tourism for South Buton Regency, with the characteristics of a coastal area, people who adhere to customs and the socio-economic conditions of the people who support it. However, the tourism development that is currently being carried out has not placed the community as the subject of its tourism development policy. An approach that places community group participation in tourism development, which is carried out with the aim of improving people's living standards. The purpose of this community service is to form the basis for defining the community-based tourism model found in Bahari III Village. That way, this community service is used to describe the economic condition of the village, community participation that allows collaboration and the creation of social capital. Through this service, we can show how this model can be used to assess the level of community participation in tourism, and suggest further actions that are needed. Women are expected to be empowered more quickly and effectively through entrepreneurship-based functional literacy education. The main problem faced is that women drop out of school quite high and do not have skills. This Community Service Activity (PKM) collaborates with the Bungaeja Community Learning Activity Center in an entrepreneurship-based functional literacy education program. The community empowerment method used consists of counseling and training. From community service activities, it can be concluded that HR is not enough to only master theories, but also requires skills in applying their knowledge in society. In training and mentoring, partners can make handicraft products from plastic waste.
