The aim of this study was an experimental research in vocational schools intended to the development of the system of educational process informatization taking into account the structure of the ICT competence of skilled workers and the trends of the information society. Representative sample of over 800 students of 10 vocational schools from different regions of Ukraine, 80 teachers, 17 specialists of VET centers allowed to study and analyze the state of informatization of VET schools, as well as to determine the degree of influence of education informatization on the quality of workers' training. The system of educational process informatization at a technical vocational school, i.e. the creation of the ICT-saturated educational environment was implemented. This is a set of interrelated activities that comprise learning management systems; information and analytical databases; computer simulation of professional actions; programs of control of knowledge; application of ICT for writing diploma papers; computer methods of competence diagnostics; simulation training complexes; expert and decision support systems. The experiment showed that the use of the developed methods of skilled workers' informational training, of applying pedagogical software tools at technical vocational school and of training vocational school teachers how to use ICT contributes to the improvement of graduates' professional competence.
The article provides an overview of the anti-crisis managerial strategies of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine and educational authorities of Ukrainian higher education institutions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study comprises results of the on-line survey conducted between the 1st of March 2021 and 11th of April 2021 and covering 380 respondents (faculty members of 12 major higher education institutions in various regions of the country). The statistical and descriptive analysis of the challenges faced by Ukrainian teachers was carried out. The review makes clear that anti-crisis management activities (organizational, socio-psychological, technical, etc.) during corona-based closures have not yet been the object of sufficient surveys and therefore remain an unexplored phenomenon. The review presented proves the urgency of the problem of development of anti-crisis management activities and is intended to facilitate educational anti-crisis management. In addition, the study provides a relevant information basis for decisions and action in politics, administration and academic practice.
Introduction. The leading approaches to the phenomenon of the civil protection specialists’ readiness for professional activities are considered. It was revealed that the problem of the socio-psychological impact of the emergency situations on specialists who provide assistance under special conditions remains poorly investigated. Purpose. In this context, our goal is a systematic study of the civil protection specialist’s readiness to work under special conditions (in emergency situations). Methods. The basic structural components of the investigated concept are characterized and their generalized characteristics are given. A review of scientific publications in the interdisciplinary problem field, including the study of the psychological parameters of professional work under special conditions was conducted. The multifaceted pedagogical modeling allowed to identify causal relationships and factors, to predict the benefits and possible disadvantages of introducing innovations, and to increase the productivity of the work of the scientific and pedagogical team. Results. Pedagogical model of formation of civil protection specialists’ readiness for professional activities is created; normative preconditions, structure, components and operating conditions of the model are considered; its emergent properties are revealed. The model includes target, conceptual and theoretical, organizational and projecting, content, procedural and technological, result-evaluation components. In order to prepare the readiness of civil defense specialists for professional activity, it is appropriate to foresee: the establishment of a favorable atmosphere in which students and students feel free and comfortable; to intensify them, directing active collaboration with all participants in the educational process; to stimulate the interests of future specialists, to develop the need to study, contributing to success in vocational training; touch all aspects of the personality, involving emotions, feelings and feelings in the learning process; to stimulate cognitive, creative abilities, correlating them with real needs and opportunities; to promote awareness of each student and student that the learning outcomes are related to their personal interests; apply different forms of work (individual, group, collective), use methods that increase the activity of cadets and students, their independence, individuality, etc. A holistic analysis of the results of the implementation of the proposed model gives grounds for arguing that its application contributes to better preparedness, optimal adaptation of personnel to extreme, risky situations under special conditions of service activity, reduction of the level of mental losses among the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and successful overcoming of the negative consequences of crisis and extraordinary circumstances and situations. Conclusion. The research of the system of formation of professional readiness of civil protection specialists for professional activities in the dynamics of their professional genesis, including activities in extreme situations, was carried out, which made it possible to optimize the training of employees of various services of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in order to improve the measures and mechanisms of prevention and liquidation of the consequences of emergencies. A model was developed that reflects the main principles of forming the readiness of civil defense specialists for professional activity, pedagogical goals, tasks, priorities, peculiarities and conditions for the organization and implementation of this process. We recommend to use the developed model as a tool through which the leadership and professors of specialized higher education institutions will optimize the educational process in order to improve the quality of training of civil defense specialists.
forMAtIon of reseArch coMpetence At the unIversIty: econoMIc AnD MAnAGerIAl Aspects purpose. To study the features of the influence of economic factors and management on the formation of research competence at the university as a social institution, as well as their reverse effect. Namely, the influence of university graduates with research competence on the socioeconomic development of the state. Methodology. The authors used the "qualitative metasynthesis" approach as the main research method. The authors carried out metasynthetic work, i.e., studied the currently available literature on the stated problem of the study, considered existing prac tices, as well as their results. The thematic coding strategy based on the selection and use of pragmatic and metadiscourse markers was used to synthesize the obtained research results. findings. The authors found that the attitude to and the ways of forming research competence are determined by the State policy in the field of education. In economically developed countries, research competence is one of the key markers that reveal the effectiveness of the relationship between the state and the university as a social institution. The state stimulates the development of university laboratories and research centers in exchange for professional researchers who ensure the socioeconomic develop ment of society. originality. The authors identified two key markers for the formation of research competence in university education. The first is targeted state education policy. The second is the economic and managerial autonomy of universities, which allows them to turn university laboratories into research centers that can effectively solve problems of state, regional, and global scale. practical value. The results obtained are necessary to clarify the process of reforming the Ukrainian education system. They adapt the world experience to Ukrainian reality and establish key markers for the development of economic and managerial rela tions between the state and the university as a social institution.
The study presents the results of exploring the training of future engineering specialists in the conditions of educational and information environment of a technical university, as well as methodological recommendations formulated on the basis of the results obtained. The research assumes that the educational and information environment of a technical university should be designed as an open dynamic and synergetic system, in which future engineers should be given a possibility to design an individual educational trajectory based on the use of educational and information resources and considering the individual psychological capabilities of students. The functioning of the educational and information environment of a technical university provides for a cyclical type of management of professional training of future specialists and adhering to the principle of feedback in student training. The results of the study, in particular a comparison of the levels of competence formation of future engineers in the control and experimental groups at the beginning and end of the study, confirmed the correctness of the hypothesis put forward.
