As an extension of the knife-edge test, a noninterferometric method for inspecting circularly symmetric aspheres is proposed in which the test surface is illuminated by a spherical wave. When a small circular stop is placed around the curvature center of the best-fitting sphere, only rays characteristic for the deviation from a perfect sphere remain unobstructed. An image of the tested surface is thereby obtained, showing light and dark regions whose boundaries are correlated to the surface profile, the stop size, and the stop position along the symmetry axis. The experiment has been carried out with a paraboloid.
Angklung is traditional musical instrument from Indonesia that is usually played by many people. In an interactive playing session, a conductor may lead the players by using a special hand sign. It would be a good idea to use the same hand sign to command a musical robot, and thus a gesture recognition system was required. The system was built based on a kinect sensor. This paper reveals how to make use the data from the sensor for faster and more reliable recognition system.
Abstrak
PendahuluanPhytoplankton yang sering dikenal dengan sebutan plankton atau alga adalah tumbuhan tingkat rendah yang banyak terdapat di perairan Indonesia, baik perairan laut maupun tawar. Diantara phytoplankton tersebut terdapat Chlorella spp., salah satu diantara berbagai jenis plankton yang memiliki banyak manfaat antara lain sebagai nutrisi tambahan untuk manusia, pakan ternak dan biofilter limbah. Pertumbuhan Chlorella spp sangat ditentukan oleh faktor lingkungan, antara lain nutrisi, pH, cahaya, suhu dan lain-lain. Karakteristik ini sangat spesifik, bergantung pada spesies masing-masing. Dengan mengamati respon pertumbuhan terhadap optimal pengkulturan.Dari berbagai penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap phytoplankton galur asing, terbukti bahwa plankton memiliki karakteristik optik yang spesifik [1][2][3][4], sifat tersebut lebih lanjut dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengamati pertumbuhan plankton dengan cepat. Studi awal tentang hal ini telah pula dilakukan terhadap galur lokal Indonesia [5][6], yaitu pengamatan terhadap karakteristik absorbansi cahaya Chlorella spp. Tulisan ini merupakan lanjutan dari eksperimen sebelumnya, yaitu pengamatan karakteristik fluoresensi Chlorella spp air tawar koleksi Lab. Taksonomi Tumbuhan, Departemen Biologi FMIPA UI yang dikulturkan di lingkungan UI Depok, termasuk pengaruh derajat keasaman (pH) medium kultur terhadap spektrum fluoresensi yang terjadi.
