Background: During the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a change in the mental status of the elderly, namely anxiety disorders and depression. It is important to know the mental status of the elderly and the role of effective communication because elderly people are easily infected with Covid-19. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out early detection in basic health services. Objective: To know the description of the mental status of the elderly during the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: Non-experimental quantitative design through a descriptive survey approach. The sample size is 202 people using quota sampling technique. Collecting data through home visits and implementing Covid-19 health protocols. The instruments used were the Geriatric Depression Scale 15 (Cronbach's alpha 0.75) and the Geriatric Anxiety Scale (Cronbach's alpha 0.93). Results: There were 50.0% did not experience depression and 44.6% had mild depression. Although small, there is a small proportion of respondents experiencing moderate depression as much as 4.5% and 1.0% experiencing severe depression. There are 77.2% experiencing mild anxiety. A total of 21.8% experienced moderate anxiety. Although a small proportion, there are respondents experiencing severe anxiety as much as 1%. Conclusion: During the Covid-19 pandemic, most of the elderly experienced a change in mental status. Suggestion: Health workers are expected to carry out early detection of changes in mental status in the elderly. Keywords: Mental status, Covid-19, Elderly, Nursing, Phylosophical
This study aims (1) to determine the factors The main problem in this study is the covid 19 pandemic that spread throughout the world at the end of 2019 including our country, Indonesia. This pandemic then made the Indonesian government impose limits on community and government activities. This is a problem for the Sindagamanik Village government, which is currently developing village infrastructure. The Sindagamanik Village Government then looked for ways or strategies to be able to continue carrying out village infrastructure development in the midst of a pandemic. This research was then carried out to find out what strategies were taken by the Sindagamanik Village government in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in the field of infrastructure development. The results of the study then explain 2 forms of strategy adopted by the government of Sindagamanik Village, namely the Financial Stability strategy and the Collaboration Strategy. Pandemi ini kemudian membuat pemerintah Indonesia memeberikan batasan terhadap aktivitas masyarakat dan pemerintahan.Hal ini menjadi masalah bagi pemerinttah Desa Sindagamanik yang saat ini sedang melakukan pembangunan infrastruktur Desa. Pemerintah Desa Sindagamanik kemudian mencari cara atau strategi untuk dapat tetap melaksanakan pembangunan infrastruktur Desa ditengah pandemi. Penelitian ini kemudian dilakukan untuk mengetahui strategi apa yang ditempuh oleh pemerintah Desa Sindagamanik dalam menghadapi pandemi covid 19 dalam bidang pembangunan infrastruktur. Hasil penelitian kemudian menjelaskan 2 bentuk strategi yang ditempuh oleh pemerintah Desa Sindagamanik yaitu strategi Stabilitas Keuangan dan Strategi Kolaborasi. Kata kunci : Dampak pandemi terhadap pembangunan infrastruktur, strategi Strategi pemerintah dalam menghadapi dampak pandemi terhadap pembangunan infrastruktur.
