The planning and design of "Taman Samarendah” in Samarinda city to mix the traditional to modern architecture aim to facilitate educational activities, worship places for Muslims, and cultural and religious destinations in the field of architecture. The Taman Samarendah located in the ex-land of Junior High School 1 and Senior High School 1 were built in a 2.5-hectare area, specifically around 1.4 hectares is for the park area. The construction began in July 2014 and finished in 2016 and made Samarinda city a Green Open Space. Taman Samarendah is located in the middle of town, so the community can easily access it. This park has bins, lighting, seating, jogging tracks, and other facilities. This study applied the concept formulation approach under a qualitative descriptive method. This study applied a related theoretical foundation technique, either architecture or non-architecture. The data collection was validated for accurate data processing to prepare the concept of planning and design of Taman Samarendah. The planning and design of the Taman Samarendah in Samarinda City with the concept of combining traditional and modern architecture is expected to become a tourist site that has educational value to cultural heritage in terms of architecture and non-architecture and accommodate the Islam worship activities in Samarinda City. The existence and sustainability of traditional houses must be maintained. The traditional houses may disappear faster than we thought. Therefore, further research should review the combination of modern and traditional houses set out in local regulations and laws.

Penelitian ini mengkaji dan menganalisis hubungan sensor visible dan inframerah drone dengan tanaman kelapa sawit kedepannya akan mudah melakukan memonitor tingkat kesehatan tanaman yaitu dari segi waktu dan efesiensi biaya. Lebih ke depan lagi sebagai arah tujuan jangka panjang adalah mengarah pada precision agriculture dengan memasukan unsur teknologi informasi dan mekanisasi pada bidang perkebunan. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan pemotretan/foto kepada blok-blok kelapa sawit menggunakan drone, dengan sensor visible dan inframerah. Hasil foto tersebut kemudian digunakan untuk analisis luas kanopi pada tanaman sawit. Luas kanopi ini bisa digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah tegakan kelapa sawit. Luas kanopi dipetakan berdasarkan bentuk kanopi dari sensor visible foto drone. Pada luasan kanopi yang dihasilkan, dianalisis lagi menggunakan foto inframerah sehingga didapat hubungan prosentase ketinggian pantulan inframerah dengan kanopinya. Prosentase ketinggian pantulan inframerah mengindikasikan banyaknya zat hijau daun atau klorofil pada tanaman tersebut dan diasumsikan semakin sehat tanaman tersebut.

One of the problems in the development of human resource professionalism so far is related to land issues (boundaries). The purpose of this activity is to provide training on the use of GPS and processing data using Autodesk map software. The training was attended by the village and sub-district staff of Samarinda City, as many as 50 people. The method used is 1) giving theoretical and practical knowledge about data collection and processing 2) assignment of making land boundaries per area, 3) presentation of results in the field and 4) output (boundary map). The results of this activity were: First, all participants of this training activity were very enthusiastic, enthusiastic, and had high motivation to take part in the implementation of the second boundary land making training activity, the participants who succeeded in making a land boundary map of 25 people or 50% of 50 participants. Third, the quality of the maps is quite good. They found differences in boundary map shape between version Samarinda City Bappeda and field data collection. Based on field data from the Bugis Kelurahan staff, the shape of the land boundary map in the Bugis sub-district in Samarinda almost resembles the land boundary map of Samarinda City of 2.5 ha, because Samarinda City Bappeda does not include the Segiri GOR Stadium as an area of Bugis sub-district that should be included as a map of the border. The map results from Samarinda Kota sub-district staff were recombined by sub-district and sub-district lurah to be determined as a map of sub-district Kota Samarinda and displayed in the A0 printout in each of the kelurahan offices located in sub-district Samarinda Kota.
