En este artículo se ha presentado el diseño de una nueva antena textil usada para aplicaciones de IoT. La antena propuesta esta diseñada por dos elementos resonantes esbozados sobre un material de tela mezclilla con un εr = 1.78. Para describir el comportamiento y encontrar la zona óptima para alimentar la estructura se ha utlizado la Teoría de Modos Característicos, la antena está alimentada por proximidad de forma capacitiva a través de dos líneas de transmisión, la alimentación posteriormente se transforma en un divisor de potencia que genera una buena adaptación de impedancia (S11 < -10 dB) que va desde 2 GHz a 3,6 GHz con una directividad máxima de alrededor de 4,84 dBi y un diagrama de radiación bidireccional estable en todo el rango de frecuencias, que en presencia del cuerpo humano se transforma en un diagrama unidireccional. Finalmente, la estructura ha sido fabricada y los resultados del coeficiente de reflexión obtenidos son muy similares a aquellos de la simulación.
