El trabajo tuvo como fin evaluar el efecto de la adición del concentrado proteico de subproductos de camal avícola (CPSCA) a la dieta de postura de la codorniz sobre el comportamiento productivo y porcentaje de huevos comerciales. Se evaluó el porcentaje de postura, número de huevos ave/periodo, peso promedio de huevo, consumo de alimento, conversión alimenticia, masa de huevo, mortalidad, porcentaje de huevos comerciales y retribución económica. Se emplearon 108 codornices hembra de 17 semanas de producción, los tratamientos fueron: T1 (0% de inclusión de CPSCA, control); T2 (10% inclusión de CPSCA) y T3 (15% de inclusión de CPSCA). El estudio tuvo una duración de seis semanas. El modelo estadístico empleado fue el diseño completamente al azar con tres tratamientos y tres repeticiones por tratamiento. No hubo diferencia significativa para los parámetros bajo evaluación; sin embargo, la dieta con 10% del concentrado generó una mayor retribución económica.
