Starting from some of the ideas present in Ethics, such as desire as a human essence, the theory of affections and the psychophysical parallelism, we explore some possible relationships between Espinosa’s philosophy and education, with the aim of making the teaching-learning process a emancipatory somato-affective experience based on good encounters between bodies-subjects with a view to building an ethical path for both students and teachers.
Ele é parte ativa do problema. Precisa também ser parte do seu enfrentamento. Abstract The term feminicide entered the Brazilian vocabulary a short time ago signaling the seriousness of a problem that is nothing new, namely, gender violence, a term that encompasses a wide range of physical, psychological and sexual violence and that is found in feminicide its most tragic and final expression. The numbers are amazing, although not always reliable, either for methodological or cultural reasons. This sad scenario, which seems to have grown in recent years, alsoreflects a macho culture that is based on male social identities that are incapable of recognizing women as persons endowed with freedom and autonomy. This research aims to investigate feminicide in the context of the problem of violence against women, collectingofficial figures that quantify, and placing it in the context of the macho culture. After all, like any social problem, gender violence does not involve only one of its sides, in this case women; it also involves the other, men. He is an active part of the problem. It also needs to be an active part of its confrontation. Keywords: Gender violence; Feminicide; Machism; Culture.
