Mesin pemarut limbah kayu merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk menghancurkan limbah kayu menjadi serbuk (partikel). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jarak antar pisau dan sudut hopper terhadap kinerja mesin pemarut limbah kayu. Jarak antar pisau divariasikan sebesar 2 mm dan 3 mm. Sudut hopper divariasikan sebesar 45o, 50o, dan 55o. Pengukuran hasil serbuk kayu sengon menggunakan wire-mesh dengan ukuran 1,19 mm, 0,25 mm, dan 0,15 mm. Hasil penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh jarak antar pisau dan sudut hopper terhadap kinerja mesin pemarut limbah kayu.
The ball mill machine for grinding red brick waste is a tool for crushing red brick waste into powder. Factors that influence the production process are the length of time and the number of solid balls. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the length of time and the comparison of the number of solid balls on the performance of the ball mill machine for grinding red brick waste. The method used in this study includes variations in the length of time and the ratio of the number of solid balls with a time of 10,15, and 20 minutes with a ratio of the number of solid balls 5:0, 5:5, 5:8 and 5:10. Measurement of the results of red brick powder using a wire-mesh with a size of 16; 60; and 100 mesh. The results showed that there was an effect of treatment variations in the length of time and the ratio of the number of solid balls to the production capacity of the red brick waste grinding machine. Where the highest value was obtained at a 5:0 ball ratio variation with an experimental length of 20 minutes with a mass difference of 104 grams, and the lowest result was obtained at a 5:5 ratio weighing 11 grams with an experimental time of 10 minutes.
Abstrak Korosi merupakan fenomena alamiah yang terjadi pada material logam. Pengendalian korosi ini dilakukan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya korosi pada material logam dan baja. Teknik pengendalian korosi salah satunya pemanfaatan inhibitor. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan inhibitor organik yaitu agar-agar. Penelitian ini menggunakan larutan NaOH, NaCl, HCl, dan K3Fe(CN)6 untuk melihat lama waktu proses korosi mulai timbul dari material logam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan . Larutan HCL dan K3Fe(CN)6 menjadi larutan tercepat dalam timbulnya korosi hal ini dikarenakan karateristik larutan HCL yang termasuk asam kuat sehingga mempercepat korosi. Sedangkan, K3Fe(CN)6 atau kalium ferisianida berfungsi menunjukkan keberadaan ion Fe2+ dan merupakan sebuah pengoksidasi lemah dalam kimia organik. Selanjutnya untuk larutan NaCl timbul korosi setelah 24 jam pengamatan dan NaOH mulai timbul korosi setelah waktu 12 jam pengamatan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa agar-agar sebagai inhibitor dapat berfungsi sebagai inhibitor yang dapat mencegah korosi pada material logam.
Egrang merupakan salah satu permainan tradisional yang banyak digemari. Berbagai kajian menunjukkan manfaat permainan egrang, khususnya terhadap anal-anak atau siswa sekolah. Analisis gerak dan keseimbangan permainan egrang perlu dilakukan untuk lebih memahami permainan ini. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesimbangan statis permainan egrang bambu. Analisis dilakukan dengan pemodelan orang yang berdiri di atas egrang. Simulasi dilakukan dengan mengasumsikan berat tubuh sebesar 20 sampai 60 kg dengan rentang 5 kg. Panjang telapak kaki diasumsikan sebesar 30 cm. Tinggi pegangan pada tiang egrang diasumsikan sebesar 120 cm dari titik pijakan egrang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dorongan atau tekanan tangan yang memegang tiang egrang diperlukan untuk menyeimbangkan momen yang bekerja di bagian pijakan kaki.
In development planning in the mechanical industry or civil engineering construction, it is very common to use the properties of the iron rod material which can deflect or what is known as a cantilever. The factors that affect the size of the force exerted on the stem are directly proportional to the amount of deflection that occurs. In other words, the greater the load experienced by the rod, the greater the deflection. Deflection of rods plays an important role, especially in building construction, wherein certain parts such as the shaft, deflection is very undesirable. Because of deflection, the work of the shaft or construction will be abnormal so that it can cause damage to the construction or other parts. This study aims to find out how much deflection of cantilevered rods using metal plate material when given a distributed and concentrated load. Based on the data obtained from the research process, the results in this study indicate that there is an effect of slackening distance on the iron plate with 3 variations in loading. The results showed that the loading rate affected changes in the angle of deflection of the iron plate in every variation of the number of plates used. The greatest effect occurred in the plate variation size of 0.8 mm with a loading level of 3 kg, namely 3.64 x 10-5 and the smallest effect on plate variations was 1.8 mm with a loading rate of 3 kg, which was 0. The results showed that the loading rate was spread across 3 plate variations. with a load of 3 kg spread over 3 points with a distance of 15 cm from point 1 to point 3. The biggest deflection effect occurs in plate variations of 0.8 mm which is 3.64x10-5 and the smallest effect on plate variations is 1.8 mm with the same load of 0.
