Recommendations for solving the problems of sustainable development of milk and dairy products market in the region are based on the study of its current state and promising directions. The dynamics of production of milk and its processing products, export and import, livestock and productivity of cows is analyzed. The contribution of various categories of farms to the receipt of raw milk has been studied, while the lag in milk yield in farms and households from agricultural enterprises has been revealed. The analysis of expenses in agricultural enterprises is presented, as well as the structure of material costs. The main problems of effective development of the industry of dairy cattle breeding include tendency to reduce the area under fodder crops; a weak feed base and increase in feed prices, which leads to the increase in the cost of milk; reduction in the number of dairy cows; small commodity farms, that is, the concentration of main volumes of milk production in households where the introduction of intensive innovative technologies is difficult; seasonality of the process; non-observance of veterinary and sanitary standards. The regional features of location of dairy processing enterprises have been investigated, confirming the close relationship between the development of the dairy industry and the raw material base. Those of them have been identified, which account for the largest share in production of the range of dairy products. The organizational structure of the milk processing enterprise "Gormolzavod" LLP was studied, the calculation of butter was made using its own raw materials. The competitive advantages of the processing enterprises of the region are revealed.
The issue of managing the financial stability of SME enterprises is one of the most relevant in modern conditions, since low financial stability can lead to the inability of the enterprise to pay its debts and obligations, as well as to the lack of funds for the development of production (investment, expansion of the material and technical base), and excess can hinder development, burdening the costs of the enterprise with excess (extra) stocks and reserves. The key to minimizing risks, increasing their resilience and competitiveness is essential for many of the world's largest companies to develop and unlock new opportunities. The enterprises of the agro-industrial complex are no exception, given the current conditions for the functioning of the domestic economy, where certain opportunities are created for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, including in the agro-industrial complex, one of which can be noted the provision of state support for the sustainable development of small and medium-sized enterprises at the state level with the adoption a number of national projects and programs. The aim of the study is to analyze the sustainable development of small and medium-sized businesses in the agro-industrial complex through strategic competitive advantages caused by changes that are associated with economic and structural crises in the economy. The result of the study is the identification of problems and ways to solve them.
The article describes the current state of dairy cattle breeding in the Akmola region. The specifics of functioning of the regional market of dairy products are considered. The total volume of demand for milk and products of its processing was determined, calculated taking into account the recommended consumption rates, separately for the urban and rural population. The goal is to study the current situation in the retail chains of the region with dairy products and the prospects for expanding their range. Methods – economic-statistical, balance, abstract-logical for summarizing industry information from open access sources and scientific literature. Results – the authors note that the development of the dairy subcomplex is accompanied by a steady increase in the volume of dairy production, this was facilitated by an increase in productivity of cows in agricultural enterprises, and in households and peasant (farm) farms an increase in the number of animals. A high share of the small-scale commodity sector has been established. Conclusions – the predominance in the structure of the dairy industry of personal subsidiary farms (PSF), which are characterized by low milk yield, quality and marketability of raw milk, causes a shortage of raw materials. Combining them into agricultural cooperatives will make it possible to fully realize their potential, therefore, ensure the workload of milk processing enterprises, expand the food sales market, stimulate the transformation of household plots into larger commodity structures and increase the incomes of the villagers. It is necessary to improve the legislative framework for the use of budget funds for public procurement, primarily from domestic producers at guaranteed prices, to develop recommendations for regulating imports and exports of products for effective price competition through customs and tariff policy.
