Word Sense Disambiguation (WSD) aims to help humans figure out what a word means when used in a certain setting. According to the Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) community, WSD is an AI-complete issue with no human solution in sight. WSD has found widespread usage in a wide variety of applications, including but not limited to: Machine translation (MT), Information Retrieval (IR), Data Mining (DM), Information Extraction (IE), and Lexicology (Lex). It is discovered that WSD may be learned effectively using a variety of different methodologies, including supervised, semi-supervised, and unsupervised methods. These methodologies are sorted into groups according to the kind and quantity of annotated (identified) corpora (data) they need as the primary source of information utilized to distinguish between senses. The unsupervised method employs unannotated (unidentifiable) corpora for training, whereas the semi-supervised method requires a less number of annotated corpora than supervised methods. All these three strategies will critically be discussed in this study.
One of the most crucial measures for accomplishing sustainable development is the application of Green Infrastructure (GI), which could effectively coordinate social, environmental, and economic growth. Different publications on GI were analyzed in this research using bibliometric and visualization techniques with the help of the programs CiteSpace and VOSviewer, which were accessed through the Web of Science database. The number of publications relating to GI has increased dramatically over the past few decades, with research done in the United States and Europe taking the lead. Journal of Environmental Management, Urban Planning and Landscaping, and Urban Greening & Urban Forestry are the most often referenced periodicals for green infrastructure research. Investigation of co-cited literature has shown that several aspects of GI are studied, including their effect on human health and ecosystem; their management, appraisals, and design; and the evaluation of a particular feature of GI. Results from a keyword cluster analysis for "green infrastructure" show that most previous research has focused on this topic in four main areas: stormwater regulation, natural ecosystems, biodiversity preservation, and climate change.
Interaction between intelligent systems and their human operators in dynamic, shifting, and unpredictable natural and social settings is novel area of study within the topic of intelligent computing systems. Robots of the past were not effective at making decisions on their own; instead, they routinely carried out the same set of actions in the same situations because they believed that the world was predictable. Nowadays, decisions may be made quickly and effectively by intelligent systems in practical settings. Modern intelligent systems include characteristics such as intelligent search and optimization, artificial evolution, and autonomous decision support that are unavailable in a traditional information system. An in-depth analysis of the methods used to create intelligent systems is presented in this paper. These techniques are often categorized as either artificial intelligence or soft computing. Some examples include the use of a neural network, fuzzy logic, a hybrid system, or a swarm of intelligent insects. In addition, this article gives an overview of two applications of intelligent systems and technologies such as Geothermal Heat Pumps (GHPs) and Heat exchangers (HEXs).
Diseases develop not only because of errors in genes or genes themselves, but also because of environmental problems or a lack of awareness of such problems. Diseases may be prevented or treated more effectively if people lived in a sustainable, pollution-free environment. Although raising awareness may help in the short term, sustainable solutions need long-term standards. Remembering the old adage that "prevention is better than cure" TIPS, or Treatment Including Prevention Services, may play an important role in reducing the spread of illness and environmental damage. A sustainable community, free from the perpetual detriment of sickness and pollution, need TIPS. Unlike at a hospital or clinic, there is no established relationship between the patients and the medical staff at TIPS. The primary goal of the facility is to foster a healthful and conscientious community and environment in which illness prevalence may be reduced over time. The Study Circle (SC) unit and the treatment unit will collaborate in a central location. The Alliance for Environment and Human Resource Development runs a program called SC on health and the environment. The objectives of SC on health and the environment are to identify the advent of environmental pollution, talk about the health problems that have arisen as a direct result of that pollution, raise public awareness of those problems and the environmental issues that cause them, and then come up with solutions to those problems.
The detection of cancer in the breast is done using mammograms (x-ray images). The authors propose a CAD framework for distinguishing little changes in mammogram which may demonstrate malignancies which are too little to be felt either by the lady herself or by a radiologist. In this chapter, they build up a framework for analysis, visualization, and prediction of cancer in breast tissue by utilizing Intelligent based wavelet classifier. Intelligent-based wavelet classifier is a new approach constructed using texture value and wavelet neural network. The proposed framework is applied to the genuine clinical database of 160 mammograms gathered from mammogram screening focuses. The execution of the CAD framework is examined utilizing ROC curve. This will help the specialists in determination of the breast tissues either cancerous or noncancerous in an accurate way.
This article focusses on a rapidly evolving networking architecture known as Software Defined Networking (SDN) and the possibilities of hazards in the network. This architecture introduces decoupled infrastructure, which establishes customization in the networking system hence making it easy to manage, troubleshoot and configure. This paper focusses on the different aspects of the architecture leaving it an intermediate working in between scholarly application, adding on the elements such as security lapses, security behaviors, general security, programmability and design. In this paper, different points of weakness of the architecture have been evaluates, including the attack vector in every plane. This paper ends with a presentation for futuristic studies on the implications of attacks and potential solutions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
