A coral trout grouper is the fishery commodities to generate foreign exchange through exports, to date cultivation continued. The purpose is to obtain data and information on the dose of the right artificial feeding and can increase the survival rate of the optimum seed nursery in the juvenile coral trout in controlled tank. Research has been conducted at the hatchery and the Institute for Mariculture Reasearch and Development Gondol, Bali. Containers experiment is used is a fiber with a size of 1 m³ up to 12 containers. test animals used were seeds of coral trout, Plectropomus leopardus with initial body length on average 3 cm with each treatment density of 100 fish/m³. Coral trout, Plectropomus leopardus seed kept in fibers. This type of feed given in the form of commercial pellet feed with a protein content of 48%, and additional food such as shrimp Mysid (jembret) for 10 days. The frequency of feeding 3 times a day (morning 8:00. local time, lunch 13:00 local time, and afternoon 17:00 local time). Treatment feeding attempted is the treatment of A = 5% dose of artificial feeding, B = 10% dose of artificial feeding, C = 15% dose of artificial feeding, and D = 20% dose of artificial feeding. The study used a completely randomized design with 4 treatments, each treatment was repeated 3 times. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance. If the variance is different then conducted a further test using the smallest real difference test (BNT). The results showed that significantly different (P <0.05) on survival, feed conversion, weight gain and body length of coral trout. The highest survival rate in treatment C = 15% dose artificial feeding is. = 90.83 ± 1.80%, followed by treatment D, B, and A.
Golden travelly is a type of fish that can live on the surface, belongs to Carangidae family, for a length of 5-8 cm can function as marine ornamental fish with the name of yellow crime or yellow samba, and can be used for consumption. The study was conducted to determine the effect of length on the initial stocking of fish seed to the growth and survival rate of golden travelly. Fish samples were cultured fish golden travelly of 45 days old hatchery and stocked with density of 300 pc/tank in 9 tanks with volume of 1 m³ feber/tanks. Golden travelly were fed with commercial fish by feeding frequency of 3 times/day untill satiation. The tested treatments were based on initial different lengths i.e., treatment A (1.5 to 2.0 cm/pc), B (2.5 to 3.0 cm/pc), and C (3.5 to 4,0 cm/pc). Feeding was based on 10-15 % of body weight. Measured variables were body length growth, survival rate, and quality of water. Growth and survival rate were analysed using analyses of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the growth rate of fish golden travelly Gnathannodon speciosus Forsskal was best at treatment B (2.5 to 3.0 cm/pc) with 7% per day and 92% survival rate. Keywords: fish seed golden trevally, tanks , growth, and survival.
Anak Agung Alit. 2020. Artificial Feeding with Different Protein Content in Seed Coral TroutGrouper, Plectropomus leopardus in Controlled Tank. Aquacultura Indonesiana, 21 (1): 1-7. Coral trout grouper seed have high economic value, but the population in nature has started to decline. The purpose of this study was to obtain a good quality of feed on the growth and stability of seeds of coral trout grouper. Research has been done with experiment container used is fiber tank with size 1m³ counted 6 tanks. The test animals used in the study were the grouper seeds from the culture. The treatments were A = protein content in 48% feed, and treatment B = feed pellet import protein content in feed 55%. Coral trout groupers are kept in fiber tanks. Density of each tank 200 etc /m³. The study used a descriptive design with 2 treatments, each treatment repeated 3 times. Data were analyzed by using T, and at the end of the research was done profit ratio analysis. The results showed that both treatments were significantly different (P <0.05) on survival and daily growth (GR). The highest survival and daily growth in treatment B (SR 97.45%; GR 0,26g/ day) followed by treatment A (SR 85,50 %; GR 0,15g/day). From the economic analysis the best profit B/C ratio was 1.51 treatment B, and followed treatment A was 1.09.
