RESUMO: Objetivo: compreender quais são os desafios para a educação permanente em saúde de um município no norte do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, que corresponde à área da 15ª Coordenadoria Regional de Saúde. Método: pesquisa descritiva e exploratória, com abordagem qualitativa. Os dados foram coletados no mês de agosto de 2013. Na interpretação dos dados, utilizou-se a análise de conteúdo. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram 17 trabalhadores da equipe multiprofissional de atendimento à urgência e emergência. Resultados: os dados da pesquisa permitiram a construção de duas categorias: a primeira, "desafios nas estratégias educativas desenvolvidas aos trabalhadores" e a segunda, "desafios nas estratégias educativas desenvolvidas aos usuários". Evidencia-se que as atividades de Educação Permanente em Saúde são insuficientes e inadequadas. Conclusão: o estudo demonstra a necessidade e relevância de desenvolver atividades nessa vertente: além do mais, é fundamental que haja comprometimento dos gestores para efetivá-las. ABSTRACT: Aim: to understand what the challenges for continued health education are in a city in the north of Rio Grande do Sul, which corresponds to the area of the 15th Regional Health Care Coordination. Objectives: describe elements that promote satisfaction and dissatisfaction in the work of recyclable solid waste segregators and conduct a nursing action focused on these elements. Method: qualitative research, convergent-care, conducted with members of the cooperative. Data production occurred during 2015 through participation observation, semi-structured interviews, and a convergence group. Analysis comprised the phases Apprehension, Synthesis, Theorization, and Transference. Results: four categories emerged. They showed satisfaction and dissatisfaction related to identifi cation with tasks and work content, material and personal gains obtained from solid waste segregation, prejudice, lack of appreciation, and diffi culties in interpersonal relationships. This last item, due to its importance, received a nursing action. Conclusion: the study contributed to the advancement of knowledge and the association of possibilities between the research performance and nursing care for workers. A produção de dados ocorreu em 2015 por meio de observação participante, entrevistas semiestruturadas e grupo de convergência. Esta última, devido ao seu destaque, foi objeto de uma ação de enfermagem. Objetivo: Analizar la somnolencia diurna excesiva y los efectos del trabajo en la salud de trabajadores de enfermería actuantes em la Unidad de Recuperación Post-Anestésica.Método: Estudio transversal, realizado con 39 trabajadores de enfermería de una Unidad de Recuperación Post-Anestésica de un Hospital Universitario. Los instrumentos de recolección de datos fueron el cuestionario de caracterización sociolaboral, la Escala de Somnolencia de Epworth y la Escala de Evaluación de los Daños Relacionados al Trabajo. Los datos fueron analizados con ayuda de Predictive Analytics Software, de la SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), a través de pruebas estadísticas.Resultados: Indican que los daños físicos presentaron mayor promedio (2,33 ± 1,15), predominando dolores en el cuerpo, espalda y piernas, dicho una clasificación grave, lo cual potencia el sufrimiento en el trabajo. En cuanto a la presencia de somnolencia diurna excesiva, el 41% de los trabajadores la presentaron. No se identificó asociación significativa entre la somnolencia diurna excesiva y los efectos del trabajo en la salud de trabajadores de enfermería.Conclusión: Este estudio podrá auxiliar en la planificación de acciones con el objetivo de minimizar los daños relacionados al trabajo y promover la salud del trabajador. Data collection instruments were the socio-labor characterization questionnaire, the Epworth Sleepiness Scale and the Work-Related Damage Assessment Scale. The data were analyzed with the aid of Predictive Analytics Software, SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), through statistical tests.Results: Indicate that physical damage presented a higher mean (2.33 ± 1.15), and pain in the body, back and legs predominated, a severe classification, which potentiates suffering at work. As to the presence of excessive daytime sleepiness, 41% of the workers presented. No significant association was identified between excessive daytime sleepiness and the effects of work on the health of nursing workers.Conclusion: This study may help in the planning of actions with the intention of minimizing the damages related to work and promoting the health of the worker. Não foi identificada associação significativa entre a sonolência diurna excessiva e os efeitos do trabalho na saúde de trabalhadores de enfermagem.Conclusão: Este estudo poderá auxiliar no planejamento de ações com o intuito de minimizar os danos relacionados ao trabalho e promover a saúde do trabalhador.
O estudo objetivou descrever as condições de trabalho segundo a percepção de catadoras de materiais recicláveis associadas, destacando os desafios e perspectivas para o trabalho seguro a partir da ação assistencial de enfermagem. Trata-se de estudo qualitativo, fundamentado na Pesquisa Convergente-Assistencial, realizado com 11 catadoras de materiais recicláveis de uma associação do Sul do Brasil. Os dados foram produzidos por meio de observação participante, entrevistas semiestruturadas e grupo de convergência. A análise foi realizada por meio dos passos estabelecidos pelo método: apreensão, síntese, teorização e transferência. Como resultados emergiram três categorias: "Organização do trabalho como elemento agravante das condições de trabalho: desencontros no processo de comunicação e colaboração"; "As condições de trabalho agravadas pelo rodízio de atividades e sobrecarga laboral"; e "Perspectivas para o trabalho seguro: problematizando as condições de trabalho". Os dados evidenciam que as catadoras vivenciam precárias condições de trabalho relacionadas, principalmente, à execução das tarefas, dificultada por falhas nos processo de comunicação e colaboração entre os membros da equipe e com os fornecedores de materiais recicláveis. As precárias condições de trabalho culminam em sobrecarga, dor, automedicação e acidentes. A problematização das condições trabalho mostrou-se uma exitosa prática assistencial para a promoção do trabalho seguro. Concluiu-se que a mediação de um espaço de diálogo e pactuação pode oferecer perspectivas para a otimização do trabalho seguro.
