Therefore, approximately 30 articles randomly selected were examined, almost entirely published in the years of 2005 to 2015 and some books of variable dates, but situated in the decade of 1990 onwards. We used the reconstructive method, that is, from the texts and their studied authors we aimed to persecute the theoretical profile that subsidized them. The study enabled the identification of a strong philophical trend of so called postmodern/poststructuralist perspectives and a special presence of the logic of difference, in the light of new identities produced by the conditions of the world in that human beings live, in contemporary times. Even more conservative theoretical positions make room for regional and local cultural characteristics to be taken in account by curriculum, nowadays. Keywords: Curriculum. Curricular theory.
