In higher education institutions, entrepreneurship learning based on successful entrepreneurial role models may promote education for sustainable development. Several theoretical perspectives, such as the human capital theory, the entrepreneurial self-efficacy and self-determination theory, argue that entrepreneurship education is positively correlated with entrepreneurial intentions of students, as it provides adequate know-how and skills and motivates them to develop their entrepreneurial careers. In entrepreneurship education programmes, exposure to successful entrepreneurial models could be a significant factor for stimulating students’ confidence in their ability to start a business and for improving their attitudes towards entrepreneurship. This study aims (i) to identify characteristics viewed by students as being specific to a successful entrepreneur, (ii) to establish the influence of exposure to successful entrepreneurial role models (chosen by students) during entrepreneurship education classes on student entrepreneurial intentions, and (iii) to assess how such exposure influences the attitudes of students towards entrepreneurship. For this purpose, the authors ran a pilot experiment with 30 graduate students enrolled in a Business Creation course using a research methodology that combined qualitative techniques with quantitative measures. Content and statistical analyses were utilised to examine differences in student entrepreneurial intentions and attitudes towards entrepreneurship after being exposed to successful entrepreneurial models. Our study provides evidence that entrepreneurship education based on successful entrepreneurial role models may positively influence the entrepreneurial attitudes and intentions of students and could lead to higher orientation of student perception towards social benefits of entrepreneurship (new jobs) compared to financial ones (high income). However, our findings stress that if educators want to improve the efficiency of education focused on developing entrepreneurial skills, graduate programmes should be designed differently for business and non-business students, since studying successful entrepreneurial stories impacts these two groups differently.
Achieving the goals of sustainable development and poverty reduction implies an important condition for access to electricity for the entire population. In the economic literature, the relationship between electricity consumption and economic growth has different perspectives. The lack of good governance within an economy, besides the deficiencies of energy resources, is a key issue in worsening energy issues for developing countries. These countries have failed to alleviate the energy crises that have hindered development prospects, amid flourishing corruption and inefficient governments. Our research, using a panel methodology, analyzes the long-term relationship between energy consumption, economic growth and good governance for 14 Central and Eastern European countries, over the period 1995–2017. The study demonstrates empirically that there is a causal relationship between electricity consumption and economic growth, underlining the fact that deficiencies in the energy system lead to slowing economic growth. The study also shows that good governance influences electricity and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) consumption, and the governments from Central and Eastern European countries have to restore good governance in the economy, creating an environment conducive to investment in the energy sector, which would increase competition and reduce inefficiencies in the production, transmission, and distribution of energy.
The purpose of this article is to identify the most important factors with impact on civil servants motivation. The factors affecting motivation are examined and their effects on job satisfaction are explained. In order to achieve the aforementioned objective of the research, we will employ the Maslow-Herzberg combined model. The study was conducted in 21 Town Halls from the Iasi County, Romania. Pearson's correlation and regression analyses were used to establish whether the selected motivational factors were related to civil servants' job satisfaction. The civil servants who feel that they are important for their organization will pursue goals actively and will increase the efforts to be more competitive at work and perform better. The limits of our research depend on the organizations analysed. The framework provides an explanation of why some factors enhance the civil servants' motivation, while others not so much.

The paper includes some explorative conceptual aspect focused on theoretical and practical analysis of sustainable local development, using the empirical data provided by the strategic documents and by Euro stat in order to respond to the following aspects: to highlight the scientific literature concerning the sustainable local development; to analyze the legal requirements (European and Romanian rules) of local development and heritage in Romania; to analyze from economical point of view the impact of local development and the implications on the local and regional heritage.

It is important for any company to hire people compatible with the values and company philosophy in order for both to develop together. Human resource management is not just personnel administration, but also the constant improvement of personnel in order to achieve the goals set by a company. Training takes place throughout one's life and encompasses at least two main phases: (i) the training with regard to the educational process which begins in the early years and continues in order to acquire qualifications, and (ii) professional development that take place after being hired by firms to develop the necessary job-specific skills. In the globalized world, the need of a specialized human resource is increasing and requires new skills, knowledge, attitude and behaviour. Studies have been made on the relationship between job satisfaction and skills, attitude and education, aiming at reflecting the subjective and the attitudinal variables which are having an impact. This article aims to link job satisfaction and employee's training programmes and aims to find the correlation between the two variables. We intend to respond to the following questions: What is the impact of training on job satisfaction? Are these directly or indirectly related to each other? Literature reviewThe training and professional development of employees are parts of strategy in the company through the complex issues involved. Studies have shown that specific training of employees can have a greater impact on wages and productivity 1 , a strong effect on the employment growth of small firms and a direct correlation between training intensity and profitability for large firms 2 . It also stimulates innovation in the workplace 3 . Some studies reflect the impact of training on the performance of the companies [4][5][6] showing that if companies offer their employees opportunities of development, the latter are more satisfied. Highlighting the importance of employees' training on the performance of a company, Marquardt et al. 7 reveal that organizations depend on the well-trained personnel who will be able to accomplish their tasks better. Considering the importance of training in professional life, some studies explain the role of specialized skills (of researchers) in the industry 8 . People are more satisfied and perform better if training has a direct effect on their performance 9 . The training is positively related with job satisfaction, as a r...
