<p dir="ltr"><span>El estudio se planteó como objetivo conocer la manera en la que la televisión pública de México informó a los ciudadanos acerca de la contienda electoral federal. Realizado con la técnica del análisis de contenido, la muestra estuvo conformada por una semana compuesta de los meses de abril, mayo y junio de 2018, e incluyó los telediarios de Canal 11 (Cd. de México), Canal 7 (Jalisco) y Canal 28 (Nuevo León).</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Por una parte, los resultados reflejan que, mientras Canal 11 destacó la campaña en su informativo presentándola al inicio del noticiario (telediario) y brindando una buena proporción de tiempo a la misma, los sistemas regionales obraron en sentido contrario. Sin embargo, en las tres instituciones se evidencia que los medios públicos limitaron en su contenido la presencia de fuentes, y no profundizaron ni discutieron las propuestas de los candidatos, contrariando con ello el principio de la diversidad informativa.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>La manera en que se presentó la contienda electoral en las televisoras públicas denota poco compromiso por parte de éstas para con la sociedad a la que se deben, ya que se limitaron a transmitir los contenidos de las campañas, sin discutir ni reflexionar en sus contenidos.</span></p><div><span><br /></span></div>
