Esse trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as mudanças na administração de quimioterapia e terapia endócrina no tratamento do câncer de mama decorrente dos novos protocolos criados durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática da literatura com busca na base de dados PubMed. Foram incluídos estudos que analisaram os novos protocolos no tratamento do câncer de mama e discutiram suas funcionalidades, como também aqueles que observaram as intervenções individuais realizadas por profissionais de saúde durante a pandemia da COVID-19. A busca sistemática totalizou 363 artigos e 41 preencheram todos os critérios de inclusão, que envolvem palavras-chave, tempo estipulado e banco de dados, e não envolvem limite de línguas. Os artigos descartados incluíam relatos de caso, conteúdos sobre cirurgias oncológicas, outros tipos de câncer e tratamentos e aspectos emocionais e psicossociais de médicos e pacientes. A maioria dos estudos apresentou adaptações nos tratamento do câncer de mama durante a pandemia, visto que os profissionais de saúde notaram a necessidade de evitar a ida dos pacientes aos hospitais e sua permanência no local por grande período de tempo, prevenindo, dessa forma, o contágio pelo Sars-CoV-2. O princípio fundamental das escolhas foi analisar vantagens e desvantagens de cada terapia e preferir tratamentos de menor risco de infecção e mielossupressão, em casos de opções com eficácia semelhante. Ao explorar as diferentes experiências presenciadas por cada autor é possível notar o avanço científico e as descobertas que esse período de pandemia trouxeram à sociedade médica, assim como o legado que deixará.
Embora os cosméticos sejam inseridos no mercado após passarem por um controle de contaminação microbiana, os produtos podem ser contaminados tanto através da aplicação quanto pela forma de armazenamento, especialmente se seu prazo de validade estiver esgotado, o que significa que os conservantes podem não estar mais funcionando. O objetivo do presente estudo é avaliar e discutir os resultados obtidos nas análises microbiológicas de amostras de bases faciais utilizadas por mulheres acima de 18 anos residentes em cidades do sul de Minas Gerais, comparando-os com as respectivas respostas dos questionários. Esta é uma pesquisa de levantamento de dados e experimental, cujos resultados foram correlacionados aos parâmetros de controle microbiológico determinados pela RDC nº 481/1999, da ANVISA. Segundo a análise laboratorial, foram verificados os seguintes resultados: para coliformes fecais, todas as 30 amostras estavam de acordo com o número mais provável (< 3x 10-¹); para contagem global, 11 amostras apresentaram crescimento de colônia positivo; e para bolores, 5 amostras apresentaram crescimento positivo. Com isso, nota-se que a análise revelou crescimento de bolores e colônias positivo tanto em bases vencidas como em não vencidas, mas que estavam todos dentro dos parâmetros mencionados. Conforme o questionário aplicado, percebe-se também que há pouca preocupação em relação à data de validade e aderência ao uso de maquiagens vencidas, além de armazenamento e aplicação muitas vezes indevidos, o que induz a importância do presente estudo e sua popularização, para evitar o risco de contaminação, especialmente em pessoas com peles mais sensíveis.
