Los diseñadores y emprendedores de moda en Nicaragua requieren espacios donde visibilizar sus diseños. Los eventos de moda se constituyen como una herramienta idónea de relaciones públicas en las estrategias comunicativas de las marcas del sector. Se presentan, por tanto, como una plataforma idónea para la promoción de los diseñadores de moda. El nuevo paradigma empresarial, basado en el ecosistema digital y las redes sociales, favorece el desarrollo de estrategias de relaciones públicas que favorezcan la interacción con los públicos y el posicionamiento de la marca. La evolución hacia un enfoque basado en la experiencia del usuario permite, además, la implementación de técnicas sustentadas en el marketing sensorial. En este trabajo se pretende analizar la gestión de las relaciones públicas y el marketing sensorial en las redes sociales de eventos de moda, mediante el estudio de caso de la plataforma Nicaragua Diseña en Facebook. Los resultados evidencian una activa presencia en la red. La participación de los usuarios es significativa, principalmente en contenido sobre festivales, mediante el formato imagen. Por último, el evento recurre al marketing sensorial para generar experiencias que conecten con el público.
Este artículo analiza el proceso de Comunicación Integrada de Marketing (CIM) de los emprendimientos del sector moda de Nicaragua, que se erige como sustento de las industrias creativas en el país. Se establece una comparativa en el nivel de implementación de la CIM entre las diferentes categorías de emprendimientos, según su formalidad, género en la propiedad, antigüedad y nivel de empleo, con el fin de identificar las fortalezas y debilidades comunicativas de cada grupo. Para ello, se adaptó el cuestionario basado en la escala de Lee & Park (2007) y se aplicó a las socias de la Red de Mujeres Empresarias de Nicaragua (REN) que dirigen emprendimientos del sector moda, calzado y complementos. Los resultados revelan diferencias significativas en el grado de implementación de la CIM entre grupos, por antigüedad y tamaño de la empresa, pero demuestra que la formalidad y el género no son determinantes en esta comparativa. A partir de estos resultados, se presentan las principales debilidades y fortalezas de cada grupo y una serie de recomendaciones derivadas, que pretenden contribuir al fortalecimiento del sector y al empoderamiento de la mujer emprendedora en el país.
El objetivo de este trabajo es evaluar el nivel de implementación de las comunicaciones integradas de marketing (CIM) en los emprendimientos femeninos del sector moda en Nicaragua, como actividad dinamizadora de la economía creativa en el país, con el fin de identificar sus fortalezas y necesidades comunicativas. Para ello, se utilizó una metodología basada en la aplicación de un cuestionario adaptado y sustentado en la escala de Lee y Park (2007). El cuestionario fue aplicado a la muestra de socias de la Red de Mujeres Empresarias de Nicaragua (REN) que desarrollan su actividad en empresas relacionadas con el sector textil, moda, calzado y complementos. Los resultados muestran una implementación incipiente de las CIM y evidencian necesidades comunicativas en áreas clave para la supervivencia de estos emprendimientos. Dada la escasez de estudios empíricos en este ámbito, se pretende aportar un primer análisis que sirva como punto de partida para futuros trabajos, y que contribuya a la mejor comprensión de un sector dinámico y complejo y al fortalecimiento del rol de la mujer en los emprendimientos del país.
