Tendo como objetivo refletir sobre o ideário de vigilância e de livre-arbítrio frente às tecnologias digitais nas últimas duas décadas, analisaremos as encruzilhadas de ambivalências sintetizadas no dispositivo Pré-Crime criado em Minority Report, conto de Philip K. Dick publicado em 1956 e adaptado para o cinema por Steven Spielberg em 2002, como uma figuração literária de impasses também capturados conceitualmente em noções como “capitalismo de vigilância” (ZUBOFF, 2019) e “governamentalidade algorítmica” (ROUVROY E BERNS, 2013). Em meio ao labirinto conceitual derivado de um cenário novo e dinâmico, podemos voltar o olhar para a ficção científica à procura de exercícios de imaginação especulativa consistentes que tentem mapear, por meio da construção de universos ficcionais futurísticos alternativos à nossa realidade, alguns dos dilemas que constituem a nossa experiência presente. Assim, leremos o conto Minority Report como uma tradução formal de impasses e uma construção ficcional na qual utopia e distopia podem ser lados da mesma moeda (LARREGUE, WANNYN e DARTIGUES, 2019).
<p>A reforma da biblioteca Moffitt (2016) da Universidade de
Berkeley é o ponto de partida para o debate que propõe uma reflexão sobre os
processos discursivos e sua materialização nos espaços urbanos. Ao
considerarmos o <em>Homo economicus</em>(DEBRAY, 2019),
refletiremos sobre as influências do Capitalismo de Vigilância (ZUBOFF,
2019) na atualização do conceito de assujeitamento (PÊCHEUX, 1995) e seus
desdobramentos nos objetos técnicos que o cercam na Sociedade da
Transparência (HAN, 2017).</p>
O presente relato tem como objetivo descrever a experiência do uso da ferramenta Google Classroom e G Suite for Education durante o período de isolamento social decorrente da pandemia ocasionada pela COVID-19. Em um exercício de reflexão desencadeado pelos dados apresentados no projeto Educação Vigiada, as três pesquisadoras debruçar-se-ão sobre a prática docente realizada na Educação Básica, nível fundamental II. O uso de Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação (TDIC) na Educação não é novidade, entretanto, o atual momento fez com que a utilização de determinadas plataformas que trabalham segundo a lógica do Capitalismo de Vigilância (ZUBOFF, 2019) adentrassem o ambiente escolar sem que houvesse um amplo debate da comunidade. Esse relato apresenta-se como uma possibilidade de reflexão de futuras práticas que usam TDIC, considerando a problemática da mineração de dados, o uso da imagem, direitos autorais, política de privacidade e aumento da jornada de trabalho feminina.
Tendo a Análise de Discurso (AD) Francesa como campo teórico-metodológico, analisaremos o breve corpus deste exercício, composto por enunciados que apresentam marcas da construção de um ethos visado, no posicionamento do sujeito discursivo e como esse processo se relaciona com a cristalização do sintagma lugar de fala (SALGADO; GATTI, 2018). Propomos uma reflexão sobre a validação dos discursos que circulam dentro de determinadas comunidades discursivas (MAINGUENEAU, 2008a) entendidas como minorias e aparentemente amalgamadas. Para tanto, mobilizaremos conceitos fundamentais da AD, tais como, memória discursiva e interdiscurso (PECHÊUX, 2016) na manutenção do imaginário de homogeneização dessas comunidades.
A implantação de redes sem-fio em trilhas de parques florestais, como os da Mata Atlântica, possui desafios devidoá alta umidade e vegetação densa. Entretanto, esse tipo de comunicação é importante para a segurança dos visitantes do parque, auxiliando o monitoramento de acidentes naturais e o rastreamento de pessoas. Este artigo formula um problema de programação linear inteira para posicionamento de pontos de acesso em trilhas florestais. Para obter os parâmetros do problema, realizam-se medições do alcance de tecnologias sem-fio e utilizam-se informações da travessia Petrópolis-Teresópolis. Os resultados mostram que é possível manter uma cobertura de 79% mesmo com uma redução de 47% da quantidade de pontos de acesso necessários.
