Desenvolveu-se este estudo com a finalidade de verificar alguns microrganismos indicadores de contaminação e deterioradores em ricota cremosa durante sua vida de prateleira. No controle microbiológico do produto observaram-se os seguintes resultados: < 0,3 NMP/g de coliformes, <1,0 x 10² UFC/g de Staphylococcus produtores de coagulase e contagem total de aeróbios mesófilos entre 2,0 x 10² e 2,45 x 10(4) UFC/g. As contagens de aeróbios mesófilos diminuíram com o tempo de armazenamento, já que as amostras foram mantidas durante vinte dias sob temperatura de geladeira (7ºC). Os resultados do controle microbiológico da ricota cremosa demonstraram condições higiênico-sanitárias satisfatórias.

Impoundments caused by dams are often responsible for intense changes in physical, chemical, geomorphological and hydrological characteristics of rivers, and are one of the main causes in global freshwater biodiversity declines. When these changes derive from multiple cascading dams, the cumulative effect can amplify, causing more pronounced consequences than each individual reservoir, which may affect, among other factors, the biotic and functional conditions of fish fauna. We aim to evaluate the impact of dam cascades on fish functional diversity by applying trait‐based analysis. We evaluate the functional attributes (functional indices and community‐weighted means of trait values) and environmental variables at 11 sites, which encompassed different segments affected by the hydroelectric plants (transition, reservoir, reduced discharge section and tributary) in the Antas River Basin dam cascade system located in southern Brazil. The spatial differences of the functional indices (richness, evenness, divergence, dispersion and diversity) as well as the weighted averages of each functional trait were tested through analysis of variance. The most affected functional characteristics were those related to habitat exploration by detritivorous species, especially the use of food resources and body shape, as well as the type of swimming movement. These traits were more representative at the most downstream site of the complex. Thus, our results suggest that the cascade of dams acts in the functional homogenisation of the ichthyofauna in the intermediate stretches, mainly reflecting physical changes in habitat.

O transtorno de acumulação, hoarding ou Síndrome de Noé é um problema multifatorial e interdisciplinar de Saúde Pública e diz respeito ao acúmulo de animais, onde o indivíduo acometido torna-se incapaz de mantê-los adequadamente e não percebe os riscos desse comportamento para a própria saúde, a da sua família, a de vizinhos e a dos animais. Assim surge a necessidade de conhecer o perfil destes acumuladores, assim como de que maneira eles domiciliam, alimentam e promove cuidados veterinários a esses animais, também sendo verificado o conhecimento dos mesmos para com as zoonoses e a relação do animal com o ambiente. Desta forma o presente trabalho teve por objetivo, traçar um perfil dos acumuladores de animais da cidade de São Luís – MA, através da aplicação de um questionário sobre o conhecimento da população acerca das zoonoses, maus tratos, riscos ambientais, noções sobre manejo alimentar e assistência médico veterinária aos animais e perfil socioeconômico das pessoas que sofrem de transtorno de acumulação de animais. Conclui-se que o nível de escolaridade (pessoas sem o nível superior) apresentou correlação significativa com a quantidade de animais acumulados (acima de 20) (P<0,001). O nível de escolaridade não influenciou o conhecimento das pessoas em relação as zoonoses (P=0,3292). Porém, a variável nível superior influenciou significativamente nos hábitos de levar os animais ao veterinário (P=0,002), bem como na imunização dos mesmos (P=0,0009). É necessário um trabalho multiprofissional para melhoria da qualidade de vida dos seres humanos e animais.

The current diagnosis of Archaeology in the municipality of Avis reflects a deep and systematic knowledge of the territory, its particularities and the diversity of expressions that translate the human occupation in this region, advocating the urgent need to revise the Municipal Master Plan. A summary of the contribution of the Avis Archaeology Centre to the study and safeguarding of archaeological heritage is presented, addressing the strategic options and procedures considered fundamental for a municipal intervention in the face of the new challenges in the management of these heritage values and their affirmation in local dynamics, which includes insertion in the politics and instruments of management and planning of the territory and in local development strategies.
