A sífilis é uma infecção sexualmente transmissível que pode ocasionar a forma congênita, um problema grave de saúde pública. Logo, o trabalho tem como objetivo analisar os aspectos epidemiológicos da sífilis na gestação no Nordeste, assim como sua repercussão na sífilis congênita e infantil. É um estudo epidemiológico descritivo, do tipo levantamento retrospectivo com abordagem quantitativa, realizado através da coleta de dados do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação (SINAN) em setembro de 2021. Em relação ao cenário nacional durante o período estudado (2018-2019), foram notificados 23,5% e 21,3% de casos de sífilis em gestantes nesses anos, respectivamente. A taxa de detecção caiu igualmente, sendo a menor do país. Em relação aos óbitos por sífilis, o Nordeste representou a maior taxa em 2018 e a terceira maior em 2019. Portanto, é necessário dar enfoque a região para poder entender os dados e melhorar a qualidade do serviço de saúde.
