Performance differences have been proved among software professionals even in the conditions of identical task. Companies and organizations are aware of the fact that talent has great effect on their success; still most of the software development organizations are focusing so much on tools and technology and little on people. In this paper, we are trying to uncover the relation between the people management-human resource management and software engineering.
Immediate/on-line and Batch mode heuristics are two methods used for scheduling in the computational grid environment. In the former, task is mapped onto a resource as soon as it arrives at the scheduler, while the later, tasks are not mapped onto resource as they arrive, instead they are collected into a set that is examined for mapping at prescheduled times called mapping events. This paper reviews the literature concerning Minimum Execution Time (MET) along with Minimum Completion Time (MCT) algorithms of online mode heuristics and more emphasis on Min-Min along with Max-Min algorithms of batch mode heuristics, while focusing on the details of their basic concepts, approaches, techniques, and open problems.
The rapid growth in technology and the dynamism in our society today poses a lot of problems for Software Engineering practitioners. The result is a series of software development process methods that can be used to combat or meet up with the problems. What we can do is evolve, grow, and adapt to the changes that come along with development. This is the dynamism inherent in man—to adapt to change and improve ourselves and our existing systems—since the world is a far cry from what it was a few decades ago. On this basis lay the need to develop the model proposed in this chapter to meet the variations that exist as a result of technological development.
Quality assurance is part of quality management that ensured the pharmaceutical products are of required quality. It includes GMP, GLP, GCP, product design and development. The finished product is tested & checked according to their procedure. The confidence delivered by quality assurance is twice intrinsically to management and extrinsically to clients, government agencies, regulators, certifiers, and third parties Quality control is a procedure which contemplates on performing the quality demand. Quality control intend to distinguish (and dead-on) imperfection in the finished product. Quality control, in consequence, is a reactive procedure. Quality control can be delineated as “section of quality management emphasized on furnishing quality must-have”.
