Propeller DWI was accurate in assessing the location, extent, and size of cholesteatomas as corroborated with surgical findings. Propeller DWI is useful in detecting number of cholesteatoma foci, a vital finding as it may impact the choice of surgery.
The accuracy of ultrasonography-guided FNAC at our institution was comparable to that reported in the literature. There appears to be very low probability of malignancy in sonographically benign nodules with initial non-diagnostic FNAC results.
The SCG can be mistaken for enlarged RPLNs in post-treatment NPC patients. However, there are features which can help differentiate them from RPLNs, preventing unnecessary therapy. These imaging findings have not been previously described.
