Cancer of buccal gingival sulcus lie in close proximity to mandible but tend to invade bone late in the course of disease. Segmental mandibulectomy advocated for these tumors results in cosmetic disfigurement and functional impairment. We, for the first time, describe a mandibular preservation alternative, in form of buccal cortical plate excision, for these tumors.

Partial hemifacial hyperplasia is a rare congenital malformation characterized by prominent unilateral overdevelopment of some of the hard and soft tissues of the face. This uncommon diagnosis should be considered while examining facial asymmetry. We report a case of slowly enlarging right facial swelling which turned out to be enlarged zygomtic arch. Complete evaluation led us to believe continued condylar hyperactivity as the underlying reason for worsening deformity. We offer an explanation for the same. Minimal surgical intervention led to significant aesthetic improvement which was patients main concern.

Maxillary sinus is the largest of the paranasal sinuses and occupies the body of Maxilla. It is pyramidal in shape with base toward lateral wall of nose and apex directed laterally into the zygomatic process. It is roof is formed by the floor of the orbit and grooved by infraorbital nerve. Foreign bodies may present in the paranasal sinuses through a variety of traumatic and iatrogenic events. We describe a case where a sharp foreign body penetrated into the maxillary sinus. We used the open surgical approach, for the removal of sinus foreign body.
