In this paper, a new method is introduced to solve a two-dimensional Fredholm integral equation. The method is based on the approximation by Gaussian radial basis functions and triangular nodes and weights. Also, a new quadrature is introduced to approximate the two dimensional integrals which is called the triangular method. The results of the example illustrate the accuracy of the proposed method increases.
The bivariate interpolation in two dimensional space R 2 is more complicated than that in one dimensional space R, because there is no Haar space of continuous functions in R 2 . Therefore, the bivariate interpolation has not a unique solution for a set of arbitrary distinct pairwise points. In this work, we suggest a type of basis which depends on the points such that the bivariate interpolation has the unique solution for any set of distinct pairwise points. In this case, the matrix of bivariate interpolation has the semi inherited factorization.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
