Resumo Este estudo buscou investigar a experiência de atuação dos agentes comunitários de saúde em relação aos indivíduos que vivem com HIV/Aids em áreas de risco social. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, realizada no ano de 2015 com agentes comunitários atuantes em município de médio porte do estado de São Paulo, Brasil. A produção das narrativas foi realizada pelo método do grupo focal, interpretadas e analisadas por meio da análise temática de conteúdo. O preconceito apresentou-se como a principal causa das dificuldades de atuação dos agentes; porém, a criação do vínculo com os usuários, aliada à conquista da confiança, foi a principal potencialidade nas ações desses profissionais. Torna-se essencial o rompimento da barreira gerada pelo preconceito para uma efetiva atuação dos agentes comunitários de saúde nos territórios, para que possam colaborar com o acolhimento desses usuários e com a redução dos efeitos da vulnerabilidade existente.
Introducción: El estilo de vida es un factor relacionado con el bienestar del individuo que altera su morbimortalidad. Objetivo: Analizar el estilo de vida de jóvenes que ingresaron al programa de odontología en 2015 y su asociación con factores sociodemográficos. Materiales y métodos: Estudio observacional analítico de corte transversal con 114 estudiantes de primer año de odontología. Los datos se recolectaron con dos instrumentos: Perfil del Estilo de Vida Individual (PEVI) que evalúa: nutrición, actividad física, comportamiento preventivo, relacionamiento social y control del estrés; y un cuestionario validado que incluye: variables sociodemográficas, condición laboral y la salida de casa en razón del ingreso en la enseñanza superior. Se aplicaron pruebas estadísticas de razón de máxima verosimilitud y U de Mann-Withney, considerando una significancia α=0,05. Resultados: La mayoría de participantes fueron mujeres, con edad media de 20,06 (±2,65) y 18,96 (±1,78) años en los cursos nocturno y diurno, respectivamente. El 81,57%, salieron de casa para ingresar a la universidad y 7% realizaban una actividad remunerada. Presentaron un perfil de estilo de vida poco deseable en relación con la nutrición, actividad física y control de estrés; la nutrición se vio influenciada por el perfil socioeconómico (p=0,014). El consumo de alcohol-tabaco (p=0,017) y tiempo dedicado al descanso (p=0,018), fueron significativamente mayores en estudiantes de jornada nocturna. Conclusión: El estilo de vida de los jóvenes que ingresaron a odontología no era el deseable. Vivir lejos de los padres y la dependencia financiera de los estudiantes son factores que afectan su estilo de vida.
O objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar a presença de estresse, ansiedade e depressão e analisar as experiências acadêmicas de estudantes de ingressantes no curso de Odontologia. Amostras de saliva de 114 estudantes foram coletadas para dosagem de cortisol durante exames e aulas para análise do estresse fisiológico em ambas as situações. Aqueles que tomaram antidepressivos ou não assinaram o Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido foram excluídos da pesquisa. Dois questionários validados foram aplicados, o QVA-r (Questionário de Experiências Acadêmicas - versão reduzida) e o DASS 21 (Depressão, Ansiedade e Escala de Estresse 21). O coeficiente de correlação e o teste de Mann-Whitney foram determinados com nível de significância de 5%. Do total de participantes, a maioria era do sexo feminino, com média de idade de 20,06 (+ 2,65) e 18,96 (+ 1,78) anos. A presença de estresse foi alta entre os estudantes (45%) e esteve relacionada aos domínios Pessoal (-0,518) e Interpessoal (-0,251). Os níveis de cortisol durante os testes mostraram correlação com as pontuações mais altas nos domínios Estudo (0,197), Carreira (0,347) e Institucional (0,196). De todos os alunos questionados, 81% deixaram a casa dos pais para estudar. A presença de estresse, ansiedade e depressão estava relacionada à interação dos alunos com seus pares e aos aspectos pessoais. Os maiores níveis de cortisol foram naqueles mais adaptados nos domínios Estudo, Carreira e Institucional.
