Introdução: A formação médica passa por constantes transformações a fim de se adaptar às demandas atuais. Considerando a disciplina de anatomia humana nesse cenário, novos métodos surgiram com objetivo de tornar o aprendizado mais dinâmico e correlacionar conhecimentos de anatomia com à prática médica. Objetivo: Dessa forma, o objetivo da pesquisa foi comparar o método ativo com o modelo tradicional de ensino no estudo do corpo humano. Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo transversal, por meio da aplicação de dois questionários aos discentes do 1º ao 5º período do curso de medicina: um questionário de percepção de aprendizado, composto por 8 itens com alternativas na escala lirket, e um questionário de conhecimento de anatomia humana. Resultado: Participaram 132 alunos, com um escore médio de 21,74 (± 7,55) no questionário de percepção de aprendizado e pontuação de 6.76 (± 1.80) no questionário de conhecimento de anatomia humana, além de identificar uma correlação significativa entre o período do curso e a percepção das metodologias ativas de ensino (r=+0,382; valor de p<0,0001). Conclusão: Conclui-se que metade dos alunos percebem bom aprendizado com os métodos ativos e que há tendência de percepção positiva dos novos métodos com a progressão do curso.
