Resumo: O artigo apresenta análise que visou identificar a acessibilidade em materiais audiovisuais utilizados no curso online TecnoAssist, realizado pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, no Rio de Janeiro/RJ-Brasil. De cunho qualitativo e exploratório a pesquisa avaliou a importância dos recursos educativos abertos (REAs) na acessibilidade comunicacional e inclusão cultural de pessoas com deficiência visual. A partir dos conceitos de audiodescrição e desenho universal o texto transita pela discussão sobre a importância da adoção de recursos educativos abertos como auxiliares do compartilhamento de vídeos, minimizando a perda de informações pelas pessoas com deficiência visual. Os resultados demonstraram que a utilização de REAs pode propiciar acesso à cultura e informação de forma igualitária a todas as pessoas.Palavras-chave: recursos educativos abertos; acessibilidade; deficiência visual; inclusão cultural.
Abstract:This article presents an analysis that aimed at identifying accessibility in audiovisual materials used in the TecnoAssist online course , conducted by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, at Rio de Janeiro / RJ-Brazil. In a qualitative and exploratory way, the research evaluated the importance of open educational resources (REAs) in communicational accessibility and cultural inclusion of people with visual impairment. From the concepts of audiodescription and universal design the text goes through the discussion about the importance of adopting open educational resources as aids to the sharing of videos, minimizing the loss of information by people with visual impairment. The results showed that the use of REAs can provide equal access to culture and information to all people.
