Relative densities, (ρ − ρ°1), and heat
capacity ratios,
cp
ρ/cp
°1ρ°1
− 1, for l-arginine, l-proline,
and
d,l-methionine in water have been measured at 288.15,
298.15, 313.15 and 328.15 K. These data have
been used to calculate apparent molar volumes and apparent molar heat
capacities. Calculated standard
state volumes and heat capacities have been compared to available
literature data. Standard state
expansibilities have been calculated from the temperature dependences
of standard state volume data.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
