Desde os primórdios da indústria, trabalhadores exercem funções maçantes e fadigosas, como grandes carregamentos de peso de maneira repetitiva durante suas vidas. Estes esforços acarretam em diversos problemas de saúde, principalmente relacionados a coluna. Como solução para tal, surgiram os exoesqueletos, que tem como principais características amplificar o desempenho no trabalho e diminuir o desgaste físico, garantindo assim uma melhor qualidade de vida aos trabalhadores. Este trabalho apresenta o projeto de uma coluna mecânica para um exoesqueleto, que visa reduzir de maneira significativa os riscos à saúde dos trabalhadores, assim como, exercer seu papel no exoesqueleto auxiliando na amplificação da carga carregada pelos usuários. O projeto foi baseado na metodologia Pahl e Beitz para o desenvolvimento de um projeto conceitual. A confecção deste projeto foi elaborada criando um modelo CAD 3D, que foi modelado a partir do software Solidworks 2018.
