O girassol é uma oleaginosa e seu cultivo está associado à produção de óleo comestível, biodiesel, ornamentação, ração para animais. A quantificação da variabilidade genética de girassol pode ser avaliada com base no seu rendimento, que é em função de diversas características morfológicas. Com isso, objetivou-se estimar a dissimilaridade fenotípica de genótipos de girassol através das características morfológicas. O trabalho foi conduzido na área experimental da Empresa Mato-Grossense de Pesquisa, Assistência e Extensão Rural, em Cáceres-MT, com delineamento em blocos ao acaso com quatro repetições. Avaliando as seguintes características: início do florescimento, maturação fisiológica, altura de plantas, curvatura do caule, tamanho do capítulo e peso de mil aquênios. A dissimilaridade fenotípica entre os noves genótipos foi avaliada com base na Distância Generalizada de Mahalanobis, e empregando ás análises de agrupamento de UPGMA e Tocher, Variáveis Canônicas e Importância Relativa dos Caracteres com uso do programa Genes. Constatou-se diferenças significativas pelo teste F a 1 % de probabilidade, para todas as características avaliadas demostrando a existência de dissimilaridade fenotípica para os genótipos com base nas seis características morfológicas. O genótipo AGUARÁ 06 apresentou a maior distância genética sendo o mais dissimilar, podendo ser usado para possíveis cruzamentos. As características início de florescimento e maturação fisiológica foram as mais contribuintes para a obtenção da dissimilaridade fenotípica.

As Bactérias diazotróficas Azospirillum brasilense são benéficas para as plantas devido à capacidade de quebrar a molécula de N2, facilitando sua assimilação pelas plantas, além disso, é considerada promotora de crescimento vegetativo, pois, induzem na produção e liberação de fitormônios como auxinas, giberelinas e citocininas, responsáveis pelo crescimento vegetativo e expansão do sistema radicular. Devido à espécie de Tento Carolina ser bastante utilizada em arborização urbana e em áreas de reflorestamento, objetivou-se neste trabalho avaliar o efeito da inoculação de Azospirillum brasilense, em diferentes doses, no desenvolvimento de mudas de Tento Carolina (Adenanthera pavonina L.). A pesquisa foi composta por um ensaio com delineamento experimental inteiramente casualizado com seis tratamentos, quatro repetições e quatro plantas por parcela. As doses utilizadas foram: T1: 0 ml (testemunha); T2: 0,3 ml; T3: 0,6 ml; T4: 0,9 ml; T5: 1,2 ml e T6: 1,5 ml) para 30 gramas de sementes. O experimento foi conduzido em casa de vegetação, no município de Cáceres, MT. As avaliações morfológicas das plantas foram realizadas 120 dias após a semeadura. Os dados foram submetidos ao programa computacional R, aplicando-se o teste F para diagnóstico de efeito significativo, e as médias comparadas pelo teste Tukey a 5% de probabilidade. Os resultados obtidos apontam que houve diferença significativa entre os tratamentos com utilização de Azospirillum brasilense, e somente para as variáveis de número de folhas e relação altura da parte aérea/diâmetro do coleto seu uso foi indiferente. Nenhum tratamento com inoculante apresentou resultado superior ao tratamento denominado testemunha.
O amendoim (Arachis hypogaea L.) é uma das oleaginosas mais cultivadas no mundo, originária da América do Sul e pertencente à família Fabaceae. É uma cultura que se desenvolve bem em diferentes condições de temperaturas, clima e solo, de maneira que, é considerada uma planta rústica, porém, requer cuidados específicos para se obter uma boa produtividade. A cultura tem grande importância econômica por estar ligada diretamente com a indústria, por possuir alto valor nutricional, com uma composição rica em óleo e proteínas. Logo é utilizada com diversas finalidades, desde consumo in natura, torrado, confeitaria, como na indústria alimentícia onde se faz pastas, extração de óleo ou ainda para produção de farelo, destinada a alimentação animal. O cultivo do amendoim é feito em todo o Brasil. A região sudeste se destaca por ser a maior produtora, tendo São Paulo como o maior estado produtor. Desta forma, a concentração de estudos é voltada para estas áreas, bem como na região Nordeste, em que o cultivo é feito em condições de sequeiro. Tendo em vista os aspectos observados o presente trabalho foi desenvolvido com o objetivo de apresentar uma revisão de literatura, pois, é fundamental para auxiliar leitores com informações apropriadas, para consequente melhoria na produção desta cultura.
O sorgo sacarino assemelha-se à cana-de-açúcar por apresentar colmos suculentos e altos teores de açúcares fermentescíveis, a cultura é uma fonte renovável capaz de contribuir para o aumento da produção de etanol na entressafra canavieira. Desta forma, o sorgo sacarino torna-se uma cultura complementar na usina, a fim de manter e/ou aumentar a oferta de etanol no mercado. Diante do exposto, objetivou-se com o presente trabalho avaliar o potencial agronômico de genótipos de sorgo sacarino baseado em características morfoagronômicas. Foram avaliados 25 genótipos de sorgo sacarino em delineamento de blocos casualizados, com três repetições, avaliando nove características morfoagronômicas. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de variância e ao teste de Scott-Knott a 1% de probabilidade, também foram estimados os coeficientes de correlação entre as características, pelo coeficiente de correlação de Pearson. Com base nos resultados, pode-se concluir que existe variabilidade entre os genótipos de sorgo sacarino para as características morfoagronômicas avaliadas. Os genótipos CMSXS642, CMSXS646 e CMSXS647 apresentaram melhor desempenho em relação às características avaliadas, mostrando-se bastante promissores para a produção de etanol.
