Neste relato de caso discutiremos o Carcinoma Epidermoide variante Sarcomatoide em amígdala. Desse modo, versaremos uma análise sobre a incidência, os tratamentos e as taxas de acometimento de tal doença. O objetivo é analisar a doença e procurar torná-la mais conhecida e popular, para que, caso algum médico se depare com ela, possa diagnosticar e tratar da forma mais eficiente, já que essa doença possui uma alta taxa de mortalidade. A cavidade oral e orofaríngea se apresenta, sistematicamente, como um local capaz de alocar tumores. Há inúmeros fatores de risco, como: tabagismo, etilismo, imunodeficiência e má higiene bucal, tais fatores favorecem a malignização, principalmente em língua e assoalho bucal, portanto com uma investigação e intervenção precoce é possível curar e favorecer a sobrevida. Apresentaremos o caso de um paciente, que apesar de fatores de risco concordantes com literatura, apresentou tumor úlcero-infiltrativo orofaríngeo em amigdala direita e assimetria amigdaliana, com estudo histológico de carcinossarcoma ou carcinoma epidermóide sarcomatóide, sendo local incomumente acometido, com variante neoplásica rara, portanto, foi necessário questionar qual a melhor forma para tratar tal doença, tendo sido necessário uma discussão e estudo sobre as melhores formas de tratamento. Dessa forma, o paciente foi submetido radioterapia, quimioterapia e excisão cirúrgica por faringectomia direita parcial, sem linfadenectomia, pois felizmente não havia invasão angiolinfática. Apesar da rara localização, entende-se que a variante histológica é incomum e com isso sua evolução será pouco previsível. Com a intervenção cirúrgica adequada, associada a quimioterapia e radioterapia, há uma alta taxa de sobrevida prevista pela literatura, ao logo do acompanhamento do paciente foi possível perceber a eficiência da intervenção cirúrgica e uma evolução clínica significativa. Até o momento não há indícios clínicos e imagiológicos de recidiva da lesão.
O presente estudo propõe relatar o caso de uma paciente que fora diagnosticada com hemangiopericitoma, no Hospital de Otorrino, e como foi sucedido a realização do tratamento, perpassando por exames de anamnese completa, exame físico da orofaringe, cavidade nasal e ouvidos. O objetivo central é evidenciar o sucesso adquirido por meio da paciente através do modelo de tratamento proposto, sendo realizado cirúrgica excecional e biopsia com diagnóstico de neoplasia vascular de baixo grau, sendo assim, essa publicação tem por objetivo fomentar os estudos que reflitam na discussão deste tipo de tumor e relatar novas possibilidades de crescimento e locais de acometimentos.
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo relatar um caso clínico de uma paciente que procurou o atendimento médico otorrinolaringológico no Hospital de Otorrino em Cuiabá – MT, depois de um trauma craniano que apresentou como sintoma a paralisia facial. Visamos apresentar, também, como se deu a realização do tratamento, que incluiu exames de anamnese, exames físicos da orofaringe e das cavidades nasal e ouvidos. Ao final, foi possível evidenciar o sucesso adquirido por meio da paciente através do modelo de tratamento proposto, sendo realizado cirurgia para descompressão do nervo facial.
A dermatofibrosarcoma protuberante é entendido como um tumor dermatológico raro, que se manifesta, clinicamente, como nódulos protuberantes na pele, de crescimento lento, mas localmente agressivo, podendo invadir o tecido subcutâneo, os músculos, entre outras partes moles, com alto índice de recidiva, e baixa taxa de metástase. Este tumor é comumente encontrado em troncos e membros, no sexo masculino, entre a terceira e quinta década. O diagnóstico é realizado pela anamnese, exame físico e de imagem, e exame anatomopatológico. A conduta é essencialmente cirúrgica, com excisão de margem ampla de aproximadamente 3 centímetros, e ressecção tridimensional, sendo a radioterapia adjuvante e reoperação, eventualmente, necessária. Relata-se um caso, de uma paciente de 59 anos, atendida no Hospital do Câncer do Mato Grosso, com dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans cervical à esquerda, apresentando-se como nódulos protuberantes cervicais inespecíficos e avermelhados; a região afetada é pouco comum, e localmente agressivo. Realizada cirurgia de ressecção tumoral, e acompanhamento clínico e por imagem com equipe de otorrinolaringologia, cirurgia de cabeça e pescoço, e oncologia; sem recidiva já há 3 anos, e até o momento sem necessidade de radioterapia. É necessário salientar a necessidade de se obter um diagnóstico correto desta neoplasia, se possível precoce, uma correta orientação cirúrgica como descrevem as literaturas, além de um adequado acompanhamento pós-operatório, para evitar a recorrência do tumor, que caso ocorra, seja prontamente tratada.
Este relato de caso visa apresentar um caso clínico de um paciente atendido no Hospital de Otorrino em Cuiabá- MT devido a uma queixa de cefaleia, rinorreia, obstrução nasal e roncos, abordando como foi o atendimento otorrinolaringológico e as condutas tomadas referente ao quadro, sendo realizado exames complementares e proposta terapêutica. Dessa forma, o presente estudo tem por objetivo relatar um caso de Papiloma Invertido – PI em jovem do sexo masculino, como foi feita a avaliação otorrinolaringológica e as propostas de tratamento, a fim de fomentar as discussões sobre obstrução nasal e o manejo clínico do PI. O paciente foi submetido a cirurgia para exérese da lesão, constatando, através de estudo anatomopatológico, ser Papiloma Invertido (PI). Por fim, concluímos que todo quadro de obstrução nasal deve ser investigado e avaliado por um especialista, e ter o PI como uma possibilidade diagnóstica.
