Physics-based learning of local potentials on simple plan materials as a source of learning the art of carving through levers, incline, pulley and wheel pivot, learning that equip knowledge about the potentials become benchmarks and reference in developing Jepara regency. Design research using <em>One Group Pretest-Postest Design.</em>analysis included: normality and homogeneity, t-test hypothesis and gain test. Based on the result of t-test (t<em>hitung</em><t<em>tabel </em>= 0.0057 <2,00) there is difference of Science Process Skillsbefore and after physics learning based on local potency and gain test result there is an increase of 0.347 is moderate category. In the aspect of entrepreneurship spirit obtained an average of 83.3% good category, local Potential has been studied raises the spirit of fanaticism and high loyalty to a strong sense of ownership so as to contribute positively to the Science Process Skillsand entrepreneurial enthusiasm of learners through indicators: confidence ; task-oriented and results; dare to take risks; spirited leadership; thinking toward outcomes (benefits) and originality
The main food of termites is cellulose. Wooden home furniture is often eaten by termites. Even termites can damage building construction. We can find cigarette butts around us that it becomes a waste that pollutes the environment. Nicotine alkaloid substances can paralyze the nerves and it's really effective to control insects including termites. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of tobacco content liquid antitermite to control termites. The method is used as a wood-decoy technique that is smearing and soaking with liquid anti-termites of each tobacco mass containing 1 gr, 2 gr, 3 gr, 4 gr, 5 gr, and 6 gr. Observations are conducted once in every 3 hours for 24 hours. The results of this study show that the most effective liquid anti-termite to control termites is liquid anti-termite with a mass content of 6 grams of tobacco, the percentage of mortality at 12 hours of observation reaches 100% and the mass of wood does not decrease.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
