Mentorships and mentor groups are common in university settings. Our aim was to investigate possible relationships/associations between various factors and processes in a mentorship scheme and students social and academic integration at their study program and their university. Our study aims at contributing to this knowledge base about different factors and processes that explain mentoring effectiveness. More precisely, we studied the different factors that contribute to social and academic integration among students participating in the mentoring program at the University of Bergen, Norway, in the 2020-2021 academic year.
