Baldwin-Well known old sort and one of the best there is. Large, bright red, tree large grower and very productive, sells well on the market, extra good keeper. Rome Beauty-Large, yellow shaded with bright red, juicy, sub-acid, good keeper and a fine market sort, bears at young age. Hubbarston (Nonesuch)-Large, red, striped, tender and juicy, good home variety. Fameuse (Snow)-Good home sort, hardy, me¬ dium size, crimson, white flesh. Wealthy-Early Winter variety keeping until Xmas, deep red, flesh white, very juicy, good market sort, fine for home use, quick and heavy bearer, quality of the very best for eating. You can't beat them for November and December. R. I. Greening-Large, greenish yellow, tender, juicy, and rich, with an acid flavor, tree large grow¬ er, heavy yielder, abundant bearer, excellent keeper. King (Tompkins County)-Large and handsome, striped red and yellow, vigorous and productive, ex¬ cellent apple, does not keep so well as some. Yellow Belleflower-Large, with blush cheek, very tender, juicy, sub-acid, in use all winter, very valu¬ able sort, good bearer. Delicious-A remarkable Variety rapidly taking first place both for home and commercial orchards. Fruit extra large, color nearly bright red,, flesh white and fine grained, rich, melting and juicy, of the very highest quality, tree young bearer sometimes at age three years from planting, good keeper in most sections, annual bearer. Spitzetiburg-Medium sized, deep red, flesh yellow, crisp, sub-acid, high flavored, bears and grows well in most sections. Staymans Winesap-One of the best apples for bearing and selling, we strongly recommend this variety, good size, deep red, handsome, juicy and crisp. Keeps well, bears young, an extra good apple both for eating and cider making. Winter Banana-Large, yellow, shaded and mar¬ bled with crimson, quality good, bears young, good keeper, excellent for all uses. Ben Davis-Large, handsome, striped, good keep¬ er, tree vigorous grower. McIntosh Red-Medium size, nearly covered with dark red, flesh white, tender, juicy and crisp, tree very hardy, a good bearer, starts bearing very young, one of the best for planting. North Western Greening-Large yellow, good bearer, thrifty, keeps well, one of the best yellow sorts. Wagener-Good size, deep red, firm, sub-acid, ex¬ cellent keeper and bearer, bears very young, tree upright grower, one of the very best for Orchard planting. Northern Spy-Large, roundish, slightly conical, striped with sunny side red, flesh white and tender, with a mild, sub-acid, rich and delicious flavor. Tree good grower, one of the best eating and marketing sorts. Grimes Golden-An extra fine quality apple. Gold¬ en in color, good keeper, tree vigorous and produc¬ tive.
