Objetivo: criar um Sistema Informatizado de Gerenciamento de Materiais Cirúrgicos – SIGMAC -, realizando o registro e inventário de instrumentais cirúrgicos e de uso médico em todos os hospitais da Rede SES/DF. Método: realizou-se o estudo através de uma pesquisa tecnológica, observacional, quantitativa-descritiva, exploratória, de campo e transversal. A criação do sistema informatizado e a coleta de dados teve a duração total de onze meses, tendo sido realizada a coleta entre agosto de 2020 e fevereiro de 2021. Resultados: o SIGMAC foi criado, assim como senhas de acesso ao mesmo para os pesquisadores. Foram registrados no sistema informatizado todos os instrumentais cirúrgicos e de uso médico de todos os hospitais da Rede SES/DF, com o consequente inventário de todos esses materiais. Conclusão: Ficou evidenciado que o trabalho realizado foi um grande avanço e uma ferramenta muito importante no auxílio à gestão e ao planejamento em saúde em todos os níveis administrativos.
Objetivo: O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar os fatores de risco de maior prevalência relacionadas ao risco de desenvolvimento da Síndrome da Apneia Obstrutiva do Sono tendo como base o questionário STOP BANG avaliados em pacientes pré-operatórios de um hospital do Distrito Federal. Metodologia: Pesquisa realizada através de dados colhidos em consultas de pacientes realizadas em um ambulatório multiprofissional de consultas pré-anestésicas através de prontuários eletrônicos. Resultados: 574 indivíduos estudados, 307 (30,7) apresentaram alto risco para SAHOS e 326 (32,6) pacientes apresentaram risco intermediário para o desenvolvimento da síndrome. Referente ao Índice de Massa Corporal (IMC) 35 está positivo em 32,2% da amostra e Circunferência Cervical em 22,2% dos indivíduos. Foi observada a predominância do risco em mulheres com 59,2%. 73,1% da amostra estudada pontuou positivamente para a presença da patologia, enquanto 26,9% referiram não possuírem HAS. Conclusão: a pesquisa evidencia o risco de SAHOS em grande parte dos pacientes, risco este que muitas vezes não é percebido e identificado pelos profissionais de saúde, sendo necessário desta forma uma maior divulgação e conhecimento da abordagem da SAHOS, principalmente em pacientes pré-anestésicos.
Objetivo: o estudo objetivou conhecer os acidentes com materiais perfurocortantes que envolvem a equipe de enfermagem em um centro cirúrgico, com a pretensãode identificar os fatores que contribuem para ocorrência dos acidentes. Método: trata-se de um estudo exploratório de abordagem quantitativa de caráter documental e retrospectivo. Realizada busca dos formulários de notificação de acidentes perfurocortantes. Participaram da pesquisa todos os profissionais que sofreram acidente, totalizando 125 profissionais vinculados a equipe da enfermagem do hospital. Conclusão: com relação ao tipo de exposição foi notório a frequência de acidentes envolvendo objetos perfurocortantes (52,8%.Em relação a acidentes com exposição de líquidos corpóreos a pele íntegra (19,2%), os acidentados a maioria pertenciam a categoria de técnico de enfermagem (60,0%). Portanto, através desta pesquisa espera-se contribuir com informações que incentivem a implementação de programas de orientação e prevenção, possibilitando uma aprendizagem e atualização desses profissionais acerca dos acidentes.
Introdução: O abortamento representa um grave problema de saúde pública, com maior incidência em países em desenvolvimento representando uma das principais causas de mortalidade materna no Brasil. Portanto, objetiva-se verificar o perfil de mulheres submetidas à curetagem uterina em um hospital de médio porte no Distrito Federal, Brasil. Método: Trata-se de pesquisa de análise documental retrospectiva, de caráter exploratório e descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, realizada em um hospital público do Distrito Federal. Resultados: A curetagem apresentou taxa de 54,03% e a AMIU taxa de 45,97%; a frequência de procedimentos nos 12 meses analisados foi de 5,74% a 11,04%, em relação à amostra de 435 pacientes; a faixa etária com maior número de procedimentos foi de 25-34 anos, com 40,70%, ficando as outras duas faixas (15-24 anos e 35-45 anos) com 29,65%. Conclusão: O perfil encontrado não difere substancialmente daquele apresentado na literatura, relativo ao Brasil, incluindo o fato de que cabe às maternidades do Distrito Federal atenderem pacientes dos estados próximos, como ocorre em outras regiões do país, o que acarreta sobrecarga.
Objetivo: Implementar e descrever o método de identificação e rastreio informatizadodo material processado no Centro de Material e Esterilização em um Hospital Regional no DistritoFederal. Método: Estudo observacional, experimentaledescritivo, de aspecto prospectivo que realizou a implementação de uma tecnologia de saúde no CME de um hospital público, realizado em oito etapas. Resultados: Foi realizada exploração de campo antes da implementação do sistema para reconhecimento dos métodos já utilizados, aidentificação de bandejas em categorias e sua respectiva nomenclatura e numeração deforma sequencial, confecção dos rótulos, registro das etapas de processamento e instalação doSoftware Access Front-End , criação de códigos de barras para os materiais processados nosetor, alimentaçãodo banco de dados SQL SERVER versão 2008 R.2 com cadastro dos servidores, materiais processados no setor e setores consumidores, treinamentodos profissionais e atualização do manual de normas e rotinas do setor. A pesquisa foi realizada em dois meses. Conclusão: O sistema implementado trouxe benefícios ao CME do hospital nos aspectos de organização e padronização na realização das etapas e registros, além da possibilidade de rastreio dos materiais.
