O presente artigo discute a circulação de discursos sobre o assassinato de Cláudia da Silva Ferreira, moradora do subúrbio de Madureira-RJ e seus efeitos performativos (BUTLER, 1997) em diferentes espaços-tempo. Pretendemos: contextualizar o caso da "mulher arrastada” e explicitar a noção de linguagem; explorar os conceitos de biopolítica (FOUCAULT, 2008), soberania (FOUCAULT, 2008; AGAMBEN, 2004) e necropolítica (MBEMBE, 2011; 2014) na compreensão do genocídio da população negra no Rio de Janeiro; abordar a relação entre linguagem e violência e, a partir de um recorte de dados de uma pesquisa de doutorado em andamento, expor práticas discursivas de resistência em ambientes virtuais que buscam conferir reconhecimento a essa mulher sem nome, sem rosto e sem identidade.
