Palabras clave: residuo, poder soberano, estética, ética, política del arte Abstract: the article seeks to demonstrate that the poetic proposal of the novel Las tierras arrasadas (2015) by Emiliano Monge configures the process of de-subjectivity over residual bodies from the schema of the sovereign power in the context of forced migration and homeland security initiatives. The article deploys the analysis for the axis of aesthetics, ethics and politics to depict the residue not as a surplus out of the paradigm accumulation and dispossession. Also, the elaboration of the residual body and the testimony of the violence supposes a reconstruction of signifiers that questions the dichotomy victim-perpetrator.
